I am over 80 and found it very difficult to compare between your quote and a very good reduction on my renewal. I am not very computer minded and find things difficult for this. Hence I have decided to remain with my original company. Thank you.

When I tried to phone to clarify some points on the policy the person I spoke to was very rude and disrespectful to me and I would not want to deal with a person like that if I needed to place a claim. So ended up taking my home insurance with a broker, although they were slightly more expensive I would rather pay more for personal care and service.

As we are a comparison website, we don’t calculate the prices you receive and these are all calculated and returned by our panel of insurance providers, based on the information you entered on our website. They work out the premium based on claims statistics gathered for others with similar details and some insurers do change their rates frequently. Having ploughed through the offer of insurance it was impossible to purchase it as there was no payment portal only extras to purchase very poor sales practice which to me means sell cheap then the add ons come along with no telephone no. to talk the problem through or return email contact very poor do not touch them

Fill out all the details. Get quote. Click on quote. Taken to website No details copied over. Fill out all details again. Price £140 more than quote Renew with existing company as really annoyed that you've wasted 30 minutes on a middleman with no added value.
