I selected a Home Insurance policy with Admiral. On checking the address prior to payment it had part missing. (Only first line and postcode show on Confused) Contacted Admiral to ask what to do as couldn’t be edited. Person didn’t know said would ring me following day -he didn’t. So waste of time. Maybe I should just have accepted partial address as postcode correct but for me insurance is about not having to worry. Otherwise Confused seemed good tool.

Load of rubbish. Prices were not cheaper as you claim. Managed to get a deal far cheaper with more benefits.

They work out the premium based on claims statistics gathered for others with similar details and some insurers do change their rates frequently. Some quotes are only valid at the time of the quote and others are valid up to 30 days depending on which provider you choose. Your computer system does not allow you to get further into the system after you answer 2 boxes on one screen, therefore you cannot complete your transaction even though you have found a good price.

Asked for a quote for a thatched cottage. The quote advised was not for this type of roofing material and when I pointed this out the company could no longer quote. Wasted everybody's time, especially mine!

Poxy reward card expired before I used it. There was no need for ot to expire so quickly. Clearly a ploy to catch out the unwary. Will avoid confused at all cost in future.

We tried to buy an insurance policy that we had been quoted, and it wouldn’t let us. We have always been insured, have never had insurance declined, and have never claimed before. Therefore we could not understand why it would not let us purchase it. We went onto a rival site and purchased through them with no problem whatsoever.
