“Check the actual insurer rather than just the broker name - often this isn't obvious until just above the payment details when they let you know. Often it's a 3rd rate American junk shop bank who provide no service and never pay out - as is also the case with "Direct"line. As long as you do that check confused is good. Good luck getting your bonus too - at least it's only £20 I missed out on.”
