Quick and easy to check and buy home insurance using Confused.com.

Your system is good for getting prices for comparison. The problem with the system is that the insurance can only be done online. I have been checking your information on line for Tina Merchant who unfortunately is blind and can not see to do online operations. When making enquiries with the insurance companies given by your system she has been told that the insurance has to be done online. To insure by phone she gets directed elsewhere and the quotations are at least double that quoted on your system. This is almost like discrimination against those with visual impairment. Indeed most operations are now done online and visually impaired people don’t seem to have any contact unless penalised on prices. I realise this is not directly related to your operation but I feel that it needs to be pointed out as an issue.

Confused.com is a comparison website which means Confused.com compares prices from different insurers who you then purchase with directly. Confused.com is not an insurer so I'm afraid we are unable to assist you with making a payment for your new policy. The system is designed to be completed online as we are a comparison website but I appreciate that is not always possible for all users and apologise for any inconvenience you've encountered. Whilst not directly offered by Confused.com I believe there is software available that would make the process easier for customers with visual impairments and it is possible in many cases to purchase directly with the insurer via the phone, they would just need the quote reference number provided on Confused.com to match the quote details. A quote reference can be obtained on the results page by selecting 'More info'. We’d recommend contacting your chosen insurer directly to request assistance. Unable to redeem £20 voucher unable to actually activate the claim. I have been in contact with customer service 3 times now and still not able to find out how to do this as I get ‘ your access has been denied’ pls contact us- I’m going round in circles - not happy!
