James has been excellent in helping me get onto your office365 server using my MS Outlook email. He's very patient, calm, polite, knowledgeable and a really nice person to talk to with a maturity well beyond his 27 years! I've been a client of Cobwell for decades, ever since the FSB dial up modem days and had become entrenched in POP3/SMTP working where I was able to scrutinise my emails on your Hosted Exchange server and delete the ones that I didn't like the look of or considered too big to download onto my HD. When I received the recent Cobweb emails warning me of imminent changes I was quite upset and stressed because I liked my established way of working. Losing access to my inbox on Monday without warning increased my stress level. Anyway, thanks to James I'm now on your system albeit not exactly how I'd prefer to work at arms length from the cloud but I understand the need for change. The changes this year to be honest but particularly to Microsoft was been in our opinion disjointed at best & disruptive and un necessary at worst. I want to be totally in control of our website and permissions & control panel as the first and foremost freedom taken away to date. The new format of email is clumsy, slow & I want to be in total control of what is deleted and what isn't especially in junk. Why the 'need' for the change? the previous outlook ! was much easier to use, manage & fit in with our system, the folders I had are not easily accessible, everything now takes twice or three times as much time to navigate,operate as previously & I can't see any advantage for us at this time? I want control panel access as in ODIN, which is now not accessible, I want to see my invoices and download I do not want an alternative I want to be able to control our contract & add blocked sites and emails when I choose too. I have apparently received emails warning that 8th Dec you would cut us off! that were not applicable to us or our 2nd user? Causing un necessary time and effort by support, who was very helpful. Frankly it's been totally disappointing from cobweb excellent service to this point, we have been with you 20 yrs, from Freenet, we are obviously only a small % of your customers not doubt, but we wouldn't trust anyone else. Initial response time very slow had to send email reminders to generate an initial response to the ticket. Unable to resolve the issue, response simply seems to be the issue is with the third party software you are using rather than the upgraded email account that we have changed. Eager to close the ticket on that basis leaving me as a user unable to run my business. We have used the cobweb for our email provision for a very long time now and I have never experienced such poor customer service before. It appears technicians really don't understand the Office 365 product that we've been forced to use and are reading from scripts when answering questions. Seriously considering moving our account elsewhere.
