“Been with City now for 3 years and have no plans to change now. Very good company who are good to work with and purchase insurance through. Can't fault city in any way.”

“Excellent people. They have done our motor policies for years. We had a problem this morning on a fraudulent policy, which technically was nothing whatsoever to do with them. Help and advice was instant and way beyond the call of duty. All sorted by them. Makes me realise that an old fashioned broker with years of advice is way better than a remote call centre. Anyway, that's what I think.”

“We have our house and contents insurance and two cars insurances through City Insurance. They always advise us in good time of renewals. They sometimes say "last year you were with XYZ but this year you would get a better deal with PQR". I feel they are not just rolling things over - they are looking. When we had a small household claim three or four years ago, they were immediate in response and extremely helpful. There was simply no fuss. We feel confident in dealing with them.”

“The start process was easy. The price was the most competitive (as @ Aug 20). Remains to be seen if my opinion alters at renewal. As I have had no claims I cannot comment on that process.”

“Brilliant Insurance group to begin with, charged me £300 for my 2.0 Litre Honda car. I changed my car to a 1.4 Litre car & was quoted whooping £ 1300. I still had 4 months of insurance left on Honda car. I didn't get back a single penny on cancellation of my Honda car. You have been warned, stay well clear of this company.”

Dear Mr Champaneri, We are sorry you were not satisfied. We have on record that you were quoted an additional £332 to change your vehicle from a 1992 old Honda worth £2,000 to a 2019 Suzuki Vitara worth £15,000. So moving from a very old, low value car to a nearly new much higher value vehicle unsurprisingly increased your risk. Please note that we also reduced your cancellation fee in this instance to prevent you from owing us any money. Ultimately everything was in your best interest. Kind regards, City Insurance
