“I ordered some mules for my hubby who has rather swollen feet and had to return them - but the quality of the shoes were amazing and the staff I spoke with during the transaction of buying and return process were so very helpful and understanding - not only that the refund came within days of them receiving the shoes back - which was amazing as some companies seem to hold onto our funds for weeks. “I recently purchased an "Adidas Kids School Badge Of Sport Backpack" for my son as a school bag, so imagine my surprise when on arrival it was so small it be a struggle even to put a lunch box in it. I contacted customer services and explained the situation and after a short discussion I was offered a full refund and a return postage label as the item was not fit for purpose, so I printed the label and duly returned the item. I then received an email saying the return had arrived and my refund had been processed, however only the price of item seems to have been returned and not my original postage charge of £2.99 therefore this is not a full refund, after a second phone call and being told they would refund the £2.99 I am still waiting for any correspondence and therefore any refund. Nowhere in the terms and conditions does it say that postage is not covered. I am very disappointed with Charles Clinkard.”

“Buying was ok - the product looked right and I bought online. However returns process unclear and unwieldy - this would stop me buying again. There was no return instruction in the package and when looking online the instructions are badly worded and it’s not easy for the customer. The emails from you are in tiny font too.”

“Stratford upon Avon store Fantastic friendly CUSTOMER service Tried on some Reiner sandles on sale in store and thought they were too small so had next size up sent direct only to find they were too large!! Returned and retried originals and decided they were in fact OK so the staff swapped them back with a smile and no objections I know where I will buy my next pair of shoes”

“I visited Stratford upon Avon shop last week, and was impressed by the range of men's footwear on offer. Although they didn't have my size in stock, the helpful member of staff checked stock availability and ordered me a pair with FOC delivery. They arrived within 4 working days and fitted perfectly. All in all a very happy customer!”

“I received the most gorgeous pair of Ecobio shoes for my daughter's wedding. They have soft insoles and fit perfectly. I would have preferred a slightly lower heel so let's hope I can make it through the day. The shoes that had a lower heel were out of stock.”
