“The day after ordering we were called away for 4 days... we advised Clinkard and they saidc they could accomob=date that ((with Royail Mail : no problem). The shoes were delivered on day 5. Well done Clinkard's and the customer srevive lady in particular. The shoes are excellent in qualiyt and fit. Thank you.”

“I ordered a beautiful pair of shoes which I loved unfortunately they only had 2 pairs left. When they arrived one of the was a slightly different colour as it had been on display. Their customers services were excellent. Sent them pics and they immediately apologised, checked to see if the other pair were ok unfortunately not so immediately sent me a refund and a label to return the faulty ones. Would most definitely order from them in the future. Great service”

“Ordered 3 pairs of shoes online on Saturday, it took till Thursday before being advised that the size 4 was now out of stock. Email correspondence advised that only 1 pair had been dispatched. I had to contact to find out about the other pair, they weren't aware of the issue and advised that they would have to contact supplier, I had to wait till Monday before I'd get up to date information. Eventually I was advised that the supplier did not have the stock! So after much chasing and clarifying, 1 pair of shoes were sent, 1 out of 3 is poor.”

“Always use Charles Clinkard for all my shoes,as I have a wide foot .Unfortunately the sport shoes that I chose on this occasion are not too comfortable.As I have worn them I cannot return them so will hope that they will get better with wear. “I went into your store today to return 3 of the 5 pairs of school shoes (we kept the other two) and the service was appalling! There was no one on the till at all, myself and another customer waiting to buy shoes were just ignored by the two people that I could see serving in the shop, and they were idly just chatting with customers and staying with them whilst they slowly tried on each pair of shoes (surely they could leave them to try them on themselves and say they would come back if needed?) and THEN when the couple had taken their time in deciding which to choose, the assistant allowed them to go to the front of the queue and asked us to move out of the way! She also continued to have a nice little chat with them, offering up various sprays for the shoes, and THEN, she took each shoe (there were 4 pairs bought) individually out of the boxes AGAIN (after they had just been trying them all on) to check the soles of the shoes to check they were ok. They all had a merry little time and I’m sure that couple would give a very fond review, but me and the other waiting customer literally kept looking at each other gobsmacked. It genuinely felt like the scene out of Love Actually when Rowan Atkinson was wrapping up the jewellery gift, all so unnecessary and a complete disregard for the other customers in the shop. If it wasn’t for me needing to return something I guarantee that I would not have waited to buy anything and I would have walked out and you would have lost out on custom. You definitely need to employ more staff in your shop.”
