“Beautiful wide fit Gabor ankle boots in really soft leather, beautiful double stitching, looks like a lace-up but has a zipper on the side. My wife is so pleased because they are a perfect fit and true to size. Have used Clickards before, very helpful people, great quality shoes and quick no hassle delivery.”

“Although my favourite Reiker trainers were no longer available I found some a bit similar at Charles Clinkard, made by Remonte, and it was a fair compromise. The delivery was free because I had spent over the required amount, and I got a small discount that was on offer. They arrived very quickly and I am happy with my trainers.”

“I needed to send back my order. Had great difficulty finding a store open to return them. In the end I took them to your offices in Middlesbrough. What has happened to your stores? I know I could have returned them by post but I have always had a store nearby to take them to.”

“Prompt delivery of 4 pairs of shoes. Packaging slightly ripped, boxes a bit dented as the couriers don’t take care. Return label easy to access. Pity Meadowhall and Trafford Centre shops are closed, if you want smart shoes these days you’re forced to shop online rather than being able to try them on. Some of us don’t wear trainers 24/7!! Sometimes website seems a bit slow to open but that may be fault at my end….”

“Good selection of shoes for all the family. The website is clear. Returns, you have to pay but you can do that through ZigZag at a reduced cost, courtesy of Charles Clinkard. If you have to return you can ask for a refund or exchange easily on the Return Form.”

“BE AWARE OF THE COST OF REURNING ITEMS, SHOES AND BOOTS ARE BIG AND HEAVY! The choice and web site are good but I have only rated my experience as 5 partly because the online delivery service is slower than many others but mainly because if the item is not suitable, as mine weren't (colour different to on line picture) you have to pay for returns. which meant I paid £5 to simply try them on!.”
