“After having a dreadful experience at Clark’s yesterday (& measuring my son’s feet wrong). I realised that we had a Charles Clinkcard close by (my usual shop had closed down). My son has special needs & Charles Clinkcard’s has always been the best place to get his feet measured. Today was no different. I had booked an appointment but did arrive quite early. The gentleman at the door said he would send someone over as soon as possible. Within minutes Joshua arrived & was happy for us to stay in the gentleman’s section, where it was quieter. After measuring my son, Joshua then helped my 10 year old daughter with measurements & shoes. The whole experience was calm & stress free. My son did not need my phone to distract him (which is always a bonus). My daughter left very happy with the shoes she loved, given how narrow her feet are this is no mean feat!!! Joshua is based at the Teesside store & has autism specific training. Definitely worth visiting Charles Clinkard & avoid the other chaotic shops for a stress free school shoe shopping experience 🎉 Thank you guys…keep up the good work, it makes a huge difference to families like mine.”

“I visited the Milton Keynes store recently to get my daughter fitted for school shoes, and I cannot praise the team enough. From the moment we walked in, every employee greeted us with such warm smiles, instantly putting us at ease. My daughter is on the spectrum, and busy places can sometimes be a challenge, but the calm, relaxed, and friendly atmosphere made the whole experience so pleasant. A special thank you to Maddie, who measured and sized my daughter’s feet. She was absolutely fantastic – patient, understanding, and so thorough in making sure we found the right fit. Her kindness really shone through, and it made what could have been a stressful experience into a really positive one. I also want to mention the manager, who was equally welcoming, and another lovely staff member who went above and beyond to help me pick out some new sandals after mine broke (I regret not catching her name, but her help was greatly appreciated!). Overall, it was an outstanding experience thanks to such a supportive and caring team. I left not only with the perfect school shoes for my daughter, but also with a big smile on my face. Thank you all – we’ll definitely be back!”

“I ordered these boots as I have wide feet, something which they stated clearly... Fit - Wide. They are not. Returned and somewhat disgruntled having to pay to return an item mis-described on the website. Boots looked lovely, way too narrow in the foot and snug around the calf. Impressive full year to return unused.”

“I had no complaints at the quality of the product and delivery was prompt but have returned the boots as I searched for grey ankle boots. These came up on that search and the colour was described as 'pepper' which to me is grey (ie salt and pepper hair - grey!) especially as I searched grey! They were definitely not grey, they were taupe so am only disgruntled that I ended up having to pay over £4 to return an item I thought would fit the description and requirement”

“what can you say about this company, send oout marked shoes, and no opoligy from the company, told me it was a free returns, and they took £9.00 back for delivery when it was free in the first place, stay well clear and save your time, and hasstle, no wonder this country is going to the dogs, with these rip of companys, They dont no what customer sevice is, SAVE your money and buy elsewhere”
