The shoe size ordered was 10 but these were very small and had to be returned. Generally the service was good though.

The package arrived and looked fine. But once opened the shoebox itself was very damaged. The shoes had minor wear lines on them that appear to show they have been tried on a lot and maybe sent back, hence the box damage. However I like the shoes and the wear lines would have come about anyway after my own use. So I have kept them, also too much bother sending them back, but I am afraid I will not purchase online again from you as these were your own make and I would expect the shoes and box to come in pristeen new condition.

Hello Peter Thankyou for your review. This is disapointing, items are sourced from our warehouse and stores, they may have been tried on however the condition shoud not be affected. The box is predominatly there to protect the shoes during transit and again we are sorry for the condition this arrived in. We offer free delivery on all orders with no minimum spend and we ask customers to pay towards returns. You can take these into a Charles Clinkard store. Collectplus is £4.49 for up to 10KG and is ideal for larger items and multiple orders, this is also convenient as you can drop off at a location near to you. Order placed easily by phone. Got email to say order despatched but never got a telephone call or email to say the shoes were actually waiting in the store I had requested to be collected. Took about 2 weeks overall - a bit slow and not very efficient communications.

Ordering was easy, I ordered 2 pairs of boots, both boxes were damaged on arrival. The boots how ever we’re not a good fit for me, so decided to return them. Unfortunately I had to pay £11.00 p&p which I think is disgusting to return the boots. I will not be using the site again.

The boxes used to send the shoes are there to protect the products inside and it appears this was successful however we can understand your frustration regarding this. We offer free delivery on all items currently and appreciate your feedback regarding the cost of returns, there are different alternatives to send back an item such as Collectplus, this is £4.49 for up to 10KG and is ideal for multiple orders and larger products. Also, if near to a store, a return can be popped in for a refund or exchang just take along the invoice. I ordered two pairs of shoes, one of which I kept. The other from Gabor was poor quality for £95. The soles indicated the shoes had been tried on/worn. The suede was worn and shiny in one place and the toe was badly finished on one shoe. Please do not send products out in this state. The good thing was, I paid £8.55 to return them recorded delivery and very promptly received an email apology and a refund of the shoes and the postage. This response may well mean I order again, prior to that I would not have done so.

- Shoe box was a bit beaten up (scratched and torn). - Outer packaging was a good size and protective. - Click and Collect returns was easy, though would rather the returns cost was combined into the cost of the boots rather than an additional cost. - Boots didn't fit my calves unfortunately, I realise that putting the relevant calf circumference for each size would be a lot of additional work, but would also be very helpful for wide calf shoppers.

The box is there predominantly to protect the items however we can understand the disappointment. Please be assured we have passed over your comments regarding the box to ensure in future if the outer box is damaged then this is repackaged in a suitable box. Collectplus is a convenient way to return an item, it is £4.49 for up to 10KG-this is perfect for larger items and also for multiple products. Being able to drop off an item when its suitable to you insitead of waiting in Post Office queues is definetly a positive! We do offer free delivery on all products however currently returns are payable by the customer, you do have an option to take into a Charles Clinkard store of one is local to you. With reference to the calf measurements, I have forwarded this infomation to the team who look after the website to see if there is a quicker way you see the calf measurements-We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Whilst we do offer free standard delivery on everything, unfortunately free returns isn’t something we offer at the moment,we regularly review and we will pass your comments on – at the moment we do ask for returns to be paid for. You can take into a store and I note we had one close by in Glasgow, additionally you can also use Collectplus for £4.49 for up to 10KG in weight, this is ideal for larger orders and multiple items. Additionally there are other services such as Hermes and of course the Post Office. The product I bought from you I am very happy with. However, I did have a slight issue with your sales assistant. I did send an email. I think she is a bit inexperienced and doesnt quite grasp how to treat customers.

When I first got these slippers I would have given them 5 stars as they are incredibly comfortable and give good support, however as the months have passed the soles have become very slippery on a tiled or wooden floor. I bought them because I work from home and wanted something more supportive during the day, all of the downstairs of our house is tiled or a wooden floor! Had a few nasty slips. Also the material is coming away from the sole at the front of the slippers. Bought them Dec 2016.
