The sandals I ordered were much more “blingy” than they looked in the picture and were not me at all so I’ve had to return them. £4.49 to return via Collect Plus is excessive to me and I won’t be ordering from you again. Disappointed.

Hello, Thankyou for your review. We offer free delivery which is dispatched within 2-5 working days. There is no minimum spend and it is a very popular choice with our online and instore customers. We currently ask customers to pay towards returns, items can be taken into one of our Charles Clinkard stores for an exchange or a refund. Additionally there are services such as Collectplus which is £4.49 for up to 10KG in weight. Royal Mail also has extra options which are convenient and cost efficient. I managed to buy a pair of sandals and a pair of shoes but not from the local store which could only offer me two pairs in size 9 as most of their stock had been recalled. Ordered online and were delivered while I was away which meant a round trip of about 10 miles. I think that in May when you are looking for sandals they should be available. I was told the best time to shop would have been in February. Apparently this is being driven by the manufacturers, but it’s very annoying for customers! Also why can the store not have the same access online as customers st home? They could not find what I wanted in the store so I had to log in at home. Otherwise lovely comfortable footwear and great service, thank you, from me and my feet!

The items ordered arrived in a fair time,well wrapped although the plastic outer bag and one shoe box had been damaged. However, one pair of shoes had to be returned and you pay for the postage of returns

The sales assistant understood my needs and was able to offer my size in 2 of the styles I was interested in. I settled immediately on one pair of Rieker mules and I was able to order in-store the 2nd style I liked. Delivery was free, and the shoes, which fitted perfectly, were delivered in a few days.

Shoes arrived unfortunately not the correct size and I didn’t want to take a risk if the next size didn’t fit because you have to pay quite a lot for postage!

On checking your details you are close to the Stoke outlet and this will be useful in the future. I found the online website very frustrating as it was very difficult to establish a password initially as I was a new customer. Once account opened the transaction was straight forward and I got the shoes I wanted very quickly.

Disappointed the delivery driver did not knock or ring the bell as I was home. A card was put through the letterbox and the parcel left at the side of the house.

Really happy with the fast delivery however very disappointed to have to pay £4.49 to return a pair of £25 trainers that I bought for my son because they don’t fit. I have chosen to exchange for the bigger size and sincerely hope I don’t get charged delivery for them. Returns should be free. This will affect future decisions to order from Charles clinkard.

Returns can be taken into a Charles Clinkard store within 35 days of receiving your item. A refund or an exchange can of course be processed in store. I note on checking your details that Kirkcaldy is close by and this would be a convenient option for the future. they didn't make me happy the shoes have been returned. they are described as leather they aren't the right innersole was damaged. you shouldn't advertise things as leather when they aren't i am very disappointed in you for this . i have claimed a refund plus postage in view of wrongly claiming that they are something they are not.

Hello, Thankyou for your review. We currently ask customers to pay towards the cost of returns, you can opt to return to a store or additionally a small fee paid via the Post Office. There is also a service called Collectplus which is £4.49 and covers up to 10kg in weigh, ideal for larger orders and multiple products. It didn't. The wide fitting shoes did not fit and you appear to be the only organisation that charges for returns. They were returned to a shop.

actually haven't . i have ordered a pair of shoes, there was some mistake in the order on your side so one of your officer started chasing me over mail to make new payment via paypal. i have done that , i received a thank you e-mail, but it would be better if i didn't have to go trough that, for me, complicated process. i could at lest get a thank you discount voucher, as every new customer gets but i haven't. on other side , i'm happy with delivery and the shoes. Furthermore, review is badly done. there is a question " How would you rate our website?" without opportunity to comment. it gives impression that you actually don't care for the feedback, making people feel like wasting their time on something no one reads . website needs improvement. the option for sorting products doesn't work, no matter if i press sort our high to low or low to high price, it will sort products randomly

Not exactly happy though I was when my order eventually arrived. It took longer than usual and when I tracked my order online at Hermes as directed it came up with a list of progress the last saying put through the letter box!! Considering it was being delivered to the store this wasn’t possible. Concerned my order had gone astray and checking my local branch didn’t have it I had to ring the 0345 number(not happy doing that as it costs) to speak to someone who very kindly said she would look into it and phone me back, which she did and I eventually collected my shoes two days later. Top marks to the lady who looked into the problem for me but less marks for the trace my parcel etc.

Received e mail to say the sandals were in stock. Arrived very well packaged and as described. Unfortunately too narrow for me. I hadn’t realised that there were no free returns and it cost me almost £5 to return them. Due to this I will not buy from Charles Clinkard on line again. I would however visit the shop (there isn’t one locally) as I have in the past and received excellent service.
