Won't order from you again as the returning goods is too expensive.

Thank you for your review. You can take returns back to any Charles Clinkard store where you can return for free ( there is one in a large shopping outlet near to you), or you can choose any postal service that you wish. Royal Mail second class is the cheapest method, but if you choose signed for next day for example, that would be expensive. There is no need to choose this method, as second class only take 24 hours longer to arrive and we process all returns within 3 working days. There is also a link on our website where for £4.49 you can return up to 10 kilo. This link is to Collect + who have outlets where you can drop off your package. I hope that this information is of help should you change your mind and do order again in the future. You also have up to 365 days to return an item so long as unworn. Lovely shoes ordered but small sized when they arrived & had to return them. Expensive shoes that then cost me return postage! Won't buy from them again

We do offer a 365 day return policy to make this more flexible for you. We offer a collect + label for £4.49 on our website that cover up to 10KG’s in weight. Delivery ok, although delivery driver to busy on his phone to speak to me. Shoes had to be returned too narrow, not Clinkards fault but I was horrified @ having to pay to return it cost me £12.00 will not be ordering from Clinkards again.

Express shipping was misleading. Yes the order was delivered quickly after being dispatched but wasn't aware that I'd have to wait 3 days for shipping. 4 days after ordering is not Express shipping on any other website I have used. I would class this as standard shipping. Especially when you are paying extra for this service. The shoes were good and no problems there but wouldn't use again due to this unfortunately. If you are not in a rush then I would recommend but if you need them quickly I would look elsewhere.

I was delighted with my Skechers purchase, so much so I decided to order another pair in the alternative colour. I was amazed that the price had increased by £25 in the space of 4 days since my order. I made a telephone call but was told that I would have to pay the higher price. Very disappointing. I did find the same shoes at another store at a competitive price.

Love the shoe but too small - I'm normally a size 6, I ordered a 6.5 and it looks like I will need a size 7.

Website is fine- choice of footwear excellent. However the boots I purchased leak like a sieve in the rain. I was really pleased with them. Good fit, look good too. But in the rain not only were my socks yet but the whole inside of the shoe was also wet. So disappointed.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you are disappointed with your purchase. Many of the Rieker ladies boots, are manufactured using a hand stitched lasted method of construction. This along with soft natural and synthetic materials used in the manufacture of Rieker footwear provides supreme flexibility and comfort features, for which the Rieker brand has become renowned. However with this construction method there is a possibility that water can penetrate the stitch holes. Considering this, unless the style is advertised as waterproof, unfortunately, there may be some water ingress. 1st boot order came with faulty toe Reordered boots looked ok When putting the 1st boot on the loop on the heel to aid putting the boot came apart from the stitching I now need to find a cobbler to repair Dissapointing

Delivery was fine, as expected. However, on two occasions there were problems with my online order. The first pair of shoes had a mark on one of the shoes, suggesting they had been worn. The replacement pair were ill matched: one shoe was faded; it even said, hand written on the box, "Right shoe faded". I did not make a purchase.

Thank you for your review. You can take orders back to any Charles Clinkard. There is a store wiithin 3 mils of where you live, where they would have arranged a refund for you. ALternatively there is also a link on our website where for the discounted price of £4.49 you can return up to 10 kilo in one package. With Royal Mail you can use second class to reduce the cost and add tracing for around 80p more. An overnight service can cost a lot and is not needed. I hope that this helps for future reference. Friendly service,simple ordering process and prompt delivery.Sadly,however,the pair of boots ordered turned out to be one boot each of two entirely different designs ! Therefore they had to be returned,so will now be very wary of ordering footwear online !

Ordered a pair of boots that I'd had my eye on for a while. They arrived and had clearly been worn, as the leather was creased with wear, although the soles were as new. I needed the boots for the Christmas break but I photographed them and contacted customer services, who offered me a 10% discount. I accepted this as I wanted the boots - had I not been in a hurry, I would've returned them.

Thank you for your review. Shoes may have been tried on, as on occasion customers do order different sizes to try on for size and return a pair to us. So long as unworn, these items will go back into our good stock for resale. This being the case, all items should be checked upon their return and again if they are being sent out to another customer so we are sorry to hear that there were creases on our shoes when they were sent to you. I ordered a pair of slippers as a Christmas present, they arrived quickly but I was disappointed to find that the box was very badly damaged which for an intended gift looked awful. I’m sure the slippers will be well received but they would have looked much better if the box was in one piece.
