I simply did not like the look of the shoes (the colour looked different) and the zip was hard to undo. Disapointed this time.

Delivery was very quick and free but had to return wide calf boots as I couldn’t get my foot in them - not wide fit and it cost me £6 postage to return.

We do offer a collect + label on our website for £4.49 that will cover up to 10 kilo of returns or you can take back to any Charles Clinkard store. The service was good,but found the website froze at the moment when I wanted to change the address.I rang the call centre and made my order that way.

It didn't. The web page I looked at for my boots wouldn't show me a picture of them but as the previous page had a picture I bought them anyway. Then when they arrived they were the wrong colour. A different colour from the ones on the page I saw them. I have had to send them back and am waiting for a replacement pair. I then might be able to give you a better writeup.

Sadly too narrow. Have had to pay post to return, I don't have a printer for label to take to drop off free.

Boots are lovely - sizing not quite right - I ordered my usual size 5 - too small - Debenhams free return. Then I tried to order 5.5 - not in stock so ordered a 6. then the 5.5 came in stock - as I love these boots and did not want to miss out, I ordered these as well - I didn't realise I had to pay return postage. The size 5.5 fitted fine so returned the 6 at a cost of £11. I emailed your company and did not like the general offhand response. I now have got a refund from paypal for the postage. Your customer service not very good considering I did keep one pair.

Currently we offer a free delivery service which gives our customers the flexibilty to order as little or as much as the require without an additional charge (This is for the standard delivery) however we do ask customers to pay for the returns. Returns can be taken into a local Charles Clinkard store or there are other options such as Collectplus-this service offers 10KG for £4.49 which is ideal for larger items such as boots and also if there are multiple products on the order. They found me a pair of shoes that fitted which is not an easy task. However, the large fly in the ointment is that returning the shoes which did not fit cost me over £12 at the post office. Most other retailers I deal with for all my shopping needs do not charge postage, and this will obviously influence my choice of shoe suppliers in the future. Staff on the telephone very kind and helpful

This is something we review regularly though and your feedback is useful to aid us with our review. In the meantime, on our returns policy page we do suggest Collect+ as a returns method, which has a cost of £4.09 and this covers returns up to 10kg - which would have easily covered your return. There's a link in our returns section, which you may find useful in the future. The shop I visited didn't have my size but just as I was leaving the shop a male assistant, not the one who served me, quipped that I was missing out on not buying them. Very annoying because they were too small!! Am I expected to buy too small boots?

I order these extra wide boots I thought they looked really nice, but they were not wide enough for me so I had to send them back. I wish the manufactures would make fashionable boots extra wide. Even though I need a wide fit I still would like nice looking boots!!!

I ordered a pair of Gabor Ellie ankle boots on the website it did say it was C+ so I asked the question that I'm normally a D fit in other makes I was told that I shouldn't have a problem with the size they were equivilant to a D when they arrived (I was really looking forward to wearing them ) they were a very narrow fitting I was so disappointed I had to send them back my grieve is I had to send them back recorded post and had to pay £4.40 they were definitely not equivalent to a D fit I'm still waiting for my refund I don't think I will be ordering again

GABOR C = A STANDARD UK FIT, GABOR C+ = A GENEROUS STANDARD UK FIT, GABOR D = A WIDE UK FIT AND GABOR D+ = AN EXTRA WIDE UK FIT Gabor are a continental brand and it is difficult to compare these to other manufacturers as there are many factors that go into the construction of a shoe and how they convert sizes and widths will vary across the world. We do offer a free delivery service which many of our customers advise is more beneficial then free returns. You can return an item to a Charles Clinkard store within 35 days of purchase in an unworn condition, other options such as Collectplus ofer 10KG for up to £4.49 (ideal for larger items or multiple purchase) or you can also opt for other courier services like Royal Mail or Hermes. Unfortunately the sandals arrived not only in an extremely damaged box but the sandals themselves were not packed correctly. Buckles were Undone,there wasno tissue in box around each shoe and the leather strap was frayed.I phoned customer service who were polite and they did offer me a £20 reduction. I accepted this because they didn’t know for certain if they would be getting anymore in stock. I cannot understand how they got through quality control.I’ve since bought another Gabor pair of sandals in same style from another website that arrived as expected in immaculate condition. Although customer service was very helpful I won’t be ordering from you in the future
