The product (slippers) were fine. However, I paid for festive wrapping and it was appalling. The point of of having professional wrapping is that it should be better than I could do myself in terms of style, especially with a company like Charles clinkard. It failed miserably and I was embarrassed to give the parcel to my wife.

I was surprised at the length of time that it took to receive an order confirmation and for goods to be dispatched when paying via Amazon, however, the service was good other than that.

Hi, Thank you for your review. Your order was placed on the 12th December and we dispatched on the 14th. I can see that you contacted the courier on the 15th to change the delivery address and went to pick up the parcel on the 16th. Our free delivery service can take up to 5 working days maximum to dispatch as stated in the terms and conditions so we are disappointed to hear that you though that this service was slow. My second pair of boots purchased. Width a tiny bit tight for wide fit but quality is top notch and very comfortable to wear

I was sent the wrong pair of shoes for both of my orders. However the people I spoke to were helpful and once I had sent the wrong shoes back I received the right shoes within 3 days.

Wrong size Boot sent. I ordered 2.5 and was sent a size 1. I contacted my local store and made a trip to exchange as I needed the boots for a given date. The store was very helpful but I had to make an additional trip to store which was inconvenient.

I have a Charles Clinkard shop, in Warwick, literally opposite to where I work. As I have limited lunch breaks to be trying shoes on, I tend to order online and I have in the past, ordered shoes to be delivered into this store for collection. What I have found is that with Store deliveries, the warehouse takes forever to send my orders, more than 5 and up to 10 working days. Therefore on this occasion I paid to have a delivery to my work address. Quite ridiculous, I can see the Clinkards shop front display from where I sit all day !

Thank you for your comments and I am sorry to read about your problem with our instore collection. Delivery into branch should take 2-5 working days so I will look into why your parcels have taken up to 10 working days because this is far outside what store delivery should be taking. I hope you won't give up on this service because it is usually very good and we very rarely get complaints. Lovely boots but first pair arrived scuffed and with pen on the front so had to take them into the store to exchange. I'll think twice about buying online again

I was happy with online purchase but I recently had a terrible experience in your Glasgow shop. The last at the checkout was so rude. I picked some shoes and noted that it was a bit faded compared to the partner. I wanted the shoes and explained this discrepancy to the shop assistant. She fobbed me off and said that the leather was dry when clearly it had faded in the sunshine. She put some clear wax on the shoe in a clumsy way leaving blob on the shoes and other parts of it were still dry. I asked her to repeat it as I felt it marginally helped but she refused and told me to buy the wax. I explained that I was buying a new pair shoes and they should be in perfect condition and clearly they were not. She was so bad mannered that I took the shoes and left. It upset my whole day that people are allowed to just stand around and do as little as possible and then give you cheek. I was not stealing the shoes but might as well have done as to the way she treated me.

Originally went in store to buy shoes, gave shop assistant 4 models of school shoes I specifically wanted for my son. She didn't even bother to look at what I wanted! Went off and after keeping us waiting 10 mins came out with every shoe but the one we wanted! Very annoying! Why don't they just tell you so then you can buy the ones you want online!!! I ended up going online and ordering them myself and they came within two days.

Previously loved these slippers,now fit is totally different,width now over wide,therefore unsuitable to wear. Expensive way of trying on your stock as cost £3.95 to return on the recorded delivery you requested. So no point in any exchange.

As we are just a stockist of the slipper and do not manufacture them we are unable to comment on whether the width has changed. Happy is not the exact word for me.... Disappointed, my order arrived not on the date i expected as a birthday present to a child. I used express delivery n pay extra so in time for her birthday but arrive after the birthday so it makes no sense to me n the bday girl. Express delivery is actually not express.

Great shoes at great prices but.... Delivery was delayed as the business name was dropped off the address so the courier could not deliver as multiple locations at the address. Please be careful that the whole address is included, it was on the invoice. I had to phone the courier (after waiting in for first delivery) and organise the re-delivery.... a good job I noticed the courier firms emails and rang up.
