I was not happy that I couldn't find what I wanted in my local store. I have wide feet and really need to try shoes on. I ended up ordering on line.

Thank you for your feedback. We do a wide range of styles across our company but unfortunately we're unable to stock everything in one place at one time. I can appreciate, though, that it is a frustrating experience to not be able to get shoes that you need. Just for future reference, you can take advantage of our instore ordering system - our stores will be more than happy to place an online order for you in store to then try on when they come into branch. Only one fault with my purchase it took a week to arrive perhaps a more reliable parcel company would have helped but pleased with shoes when they arrived would use again

First of all I have not received my shoes as they were sent to wrong address. Secondly I was given confirmation of $70.33 but charged for $92.56. Never told that I would be charged in english money.

Hello Thank you for taking the time leave a review. As discussed via email, because you missed off the State from your address, this has led to the parcel not going directly to the correct address - we have advised that we will resend it for you as a goodwill gesture, once it has been returned. All the prices on our website are in English pounds - indicated by the £ symbol. Your order total was £70.33 - which has been converted to $92.56, when the charge has been taken from your US bank account. I am sorry if this wasn't clearer online but as a UK company all of our prices are in £ and highlighted by the use of that symbol rather than the dollar sign. No problem with the actual shoes but the packaging and box were totally collapsed on receipt. More substantial packaging is required to survive the rigors of the delivery process.

Good delivery time,However I ordered wrong product. Unfortunately the call centre couldn't tell me what it was I should have ordered so still in the dark. I wanted the ornaments with the band on them.

I ordered some Skechers trainers but when they arrived it was the right box but the shoes inside were the wrong colour. Contacted CC and they didn't have any replacements in stock. This is just shoddy in my opinion. On the plus side - their returns and refund service was free and efficient. Good customer service when I had a problem, but the problem was entirely their doing. I won't be using them again.

Hello, Thank you for your review. Whilst PayPal is currently the only payment gateway we have available to iPhone app users it is not mandatory to have a PayPal account. Beneath the PayPal login screen there is a ‘Checkout as a Guest’ option where customers can simply enter their credit/debit card details as per our main website. In the future we are aiming to offer customers the ability to pay without going via PayPal, but in the meantime PayPal is very secure. Quick delivery but not happy with item, very poor fit indeed, so had to return. Will not order again as I did not realise that returns were not free and I do not have a branch in my area.

We have a free delivery service which benefits all of our customers and ask for customers to pay for returns, this is in our terms and conditions and we are sorry to hear that you had not realised. We have stores not too far from you, such as Milton Keynes and allow 35 days for returns for refund (longer if it is for exchange) so long as items are unworn. My daughter loves her new shoes, but they were advertised as a size 11.5 but when delivered they were a 12 and way too big but she wouldn't part from them!

Thank you for your taking the time to leave us a review. You ordered an EU 30 - which sits somewhere between a 11.5/12 in UK sizes. Some companies will round down to a 11.5 some up to a 12 - but in truth, there isn't an absolutely exact conversion (which is the reason this can lead to differing conversions). I can completely appreciate why this might cause confusion though, and also why sometimes it may lead to sizes that are not suitable. With children's shoes, sizes can vary from style to style so widely that there is always the risk that shoes will be too big or too small, but we do offer a quick exchange service for this reason, should you wish to take advantage of this? Fast delivery, shoes arrived in fantastic condition - effort put in to presentation! Wrong size though! But again really quick and efficient returns service. Only downside is didn't update inventory on website - turned out my actual size was out of stock!

Very comfortable shoes, but returning are not free. I prefer to purchase it from Amazon, it's free return if I have sizing problem.

Your nearest stores are Newbury and Guildford and you have 35 days in which to get a full refund for unworn items. Service is good. Unfortunately I couldn't pay with PayPal. So I had to do it with my credit card. It is the second time with second order that PayPal didn't work.

Sandals are nice but delivery poor. Email stated a window of time for delivery but on day sent another to say would be late. As we were going away and couldn't wait any longer I emailed back to say so and leave it with neighbour who I also told. However on our return the parcel was on our doorstep in full view of passers by so it had been there for 5 days. I am surprised they were still there

The slippers I purchased are just what I wanted but the delivery service was dire. UK Mail are dreadful. They sent me an email telling me that delivery would be on a particular day and so I cancelled appointments and waited in. No-one arrived. I made numerous telephone calls to UK Mail and the automated service kept telling me that delivery would be made before 6pm and was still telling me that at 7pm! When I rang the morning afterwards the same automated service said that delivery had been attempted and no-one was in. This was a lie as I had stayed near the door all day as the item was a birthday present which I was anxious to receive. Charles Clinkards did sort it out for me and delivery was made the following day. I would hesitate to purchase from Clinkards again because of their chosen delivery service but have to say that their shoes are lovely and well priced. Also I have purchased from Clinkards in the past when a different delivery method was used and had no problems then.
