Ordered two pairs of shoes. Only one pair arrived. I was chasing C Clinkard as to what happened to the second pair. They only had one pair left, however, no phone call, also then required a visit to bank to check I had only been charges for one pair, I had. Delivery speed was very good but firs time I have ever bought shoes from them and very big let down.

The shoes are brilliant however it took over a week for them to be delivered. not impressive really.

Hi Lisa, Thank you for your comments. We dispatched your order on the working day after you placed it - and emailed you that night to advise that it had been dispatched. It should have arrived in the store the following working day. I will look into this further because you should have been contacted as soon as the store received your order -so please accept my apologies that this was not the case. Shoes ordered as a birthday present. Wrong colour shoes arrived today, Awaiting response from Sales. Not happy!

Unfortunately I had a bad experience. I ordered and paid for a pair of boots at your Newcastle Store whilst on a visit for the weekend. I didn't need them mmediately as I was going on holiday for 2 weeks and I told the store that I would collect them when I returned. Last weekend I went to pick them up only to find out that the wrong item had been sent from the warehouse even though the store had ordered it correctly. I was very disappointed I had paid for the goods in advance and my expectations had not been met. Surely this item should have been checked before dispatching.

Noticed collect plus can now be used however preference for me would still be Royal Mail for ease and flexibility as nearest collect plus still 10mins away. Made mistake of thinking because I could use collect plus returns were free but sadly mistaken. Because of this I will be reluctant to use Charles clinkards again.

Very disappointed with my first Charles Clinkard shopping experience.ordered two pairs of Reiker boots,only one pair arrived with no explanation and an invoice showing two.Sent an email have had no reply or apology.Had to phone and was told one pair out of stock invoice should have been amended.Pleased with product but not with Supplier.Would think twice about using them again

The assistant who took my order was very helpful and efficient, however, Although delivery was free, I was not made aware of the return costs of the products I ordered. I am not adverse to paying some delivery costs to return goods, but when I discovered it was costing me £11.00 to return a pair of boots, I was really fed up. I decided, there and then, that this would be the only time I ever placed an order with 'Charles Clinkard'. The Delivery also took just over a week to arrive. The return costs are the only reason I have given the overall rating as poor though, it would otherwise have been 'good'.

Although the boots for my child were great, I was randomly sent another pair of men's boots as well as my actual order. They even arrived two days before my actual order. I then had to waste time and money ringing customer services (who were polite and helpful), also go to the post office and pay to return them, with a refund on postage once they received their boots back! I'm not so sure I'll be using Clinkards online again.

I Purchased a pair of lelli Kelly's on line however after waiting a week for delivery when they did arrive they had sent me the wrong size!!! When going back on line to re order the shoe had all sold out!! Resulting in one upset little girl.

I made a purchase, giving you my work address for delivery as I was overseas. The next thing I knew I received an email telling my of the cancellation of my order and the processing of a refund, for 'non-delivery'. Why didnt you contact me first to check the delivery address? I then reordered. Delivery was to be today between 11 and 1. Guess what? No delivery, no message.......i texted the delivery company three times.... No reply! Deeply unimpressed (yet i have had good service previously).

I was not impressed with the delivery company as my parcel was delivered to the wrong address. I waited in on the specified day and it was not until I checked the delivery website that I discovered the parcel had been left two doors away from my house.

The shoes I ordered were sub-standard. The inside sole had a ridge across the middle and the patent leather was dull and not very good. I was very disappointed in the shoes on the whole. They were also very narrow.

Delivery of my boots was unsatisfactory. Everything went according to plan when ordering on line. I think the problem was my home address is the IOM. eventually I had a call on my mobile phone, where I asked the boots to be delivered to Clinkards in Newcastle, as I would be in the store that particular day. Why they were not delivered to my home address, I still do not know. I have ordered goods from Jacques Vert and Eastex and have not had any problems.

your website measurements of the handbag in question did not match and the bag received was much smaller. Hence the returned bag!

My order had not been recieved and noone had phoned to let me know until nearly a wek later even tho online in said it had been all sorted and on way and it took far too long for delivery. Lady in store was fantastic tho.

This is the third paid of the same shoes l have purchased, the second paid the uppers came away from the soles, had repaired for £25 but after a week, same thing happened, threw them away and ordered a new pair. But worried the same thing is going to happen to this pair as they are squeaking and don't seem very sound.

The boots were for a present but I could not give them with the box the came in as it was ripped and damaged I will not purchase from them ever again

Very slow delivery. Called during office hours to chase up delivery when it still hadn't been dispatched five days after ordering and telephone went to answer machine saying they were closed. Had to call again the next day and was told they were too busy to answer the phone the previous day. If that was the case the answer machine message should be changed to reflect this.
