Product I ordered was a sale item, but I was disappointed that the item I received had damaged packaging. I haven’t returned the item as it was only the box, the items were fine, but had I purchased in store myself I would have queried whether there was further discount as the box was damaged in a couple of places.

Thankyou for your review. The box is there to offer protection to your items and on this occasion it appears it has done this during the transit of your order. We note this was for a shoe care kit and are sorry for the disappointment this has caused, more care should have been taken to protect this item and fully understand your frustration and have contacted you seperate to offer a resolution. There was a lack of seating in children’s area which made it hard for staff to get through,although staff were very helpful and patient. I thought the tv was a good idea but not the balloons as little children can be a bit rough with them

I have given a 3 star rating, so why would you think the visit made me happy? I appreciate that retailing is difficult. In the last 6 months both my wife and I think the quality of the the shoes and the customer service has declined. It is now sadly just another shoe shop.

Order received promptly however unfortunately there was a mark on boot. I had to contact your service email team to resolve. Offered return or 10% off which was arranged.

I'm sending the shoes back they were all marked. Very disappointed as it is costing me £4.49 to send tge fsulty item back. I will never use your site again

Ordered boots, received clogs in boot box, disappointing The boots have been replaced, and I’ve had to send the clogs back, very inconvenient, especially on high price goods. Have used before and service has been great

On line service is good. delivery etc No problem. BUT MAJOR ISSUE - Staff in shops (Northallerton) need much better training. My size was out of stock in the shop but I found it on your website afterwards. Staff made no attempt to check they could get it for me, whilst i was in the shop. I consider this to be very poor customer service. You are lucky I checked your website first, not someone else's

The boots were a size 8 they were more like a size 6 I don’t understand why you do not put prepaid return label is like most companies do. As part of a long distance selling, it cost me over £5 to look at a pair of boots. If I was in the shop I would know it did not fit and it wouldn’t cost me anything. For the reasons above I will not be shopping with this company again. Very disappointed

Boots are great but sending a pair back for a different size was disappointing when I had to pay for postage myself.

We hope you have now been able to get the size you require. With regards to returns, we offer a free UK standard delivery with no minimum spend, however we do ask customers to pay the return cost. You can return to a Charles Clinkard store or to our Head Office. We recommend a tracked service, as we do not take responsibility for the parcel until it has been signed for at our Head Office. A Collect Plus label can be purchased through the returns section of our website, this standardises the price to £4.49. This covers up to 10kg of returns and is useful for multiple purchases or heavier items. The actual footwear was nice and fitted as expected. However, on arrival I was concerned as to what condition the boots would be on as the box was broken and crumbled. This is not great either for presentation to the buyer or for me to keep the boots in.

Beautiful Boots, unfortunately there was a manufacturing fault in the leather, so had to return them, but would def recommend, customers service was outstanding. I return and received my refund all within 4 days.
