The purchase I made was easy but the description of the product online was inaccurate. The Birkenstocks I bought were described as leather but were actually a synthetic material. They are nice sandals but part of the reason I ordered that style was because they were described as leather.

My order arrived on time however I unfortunately two of the pairs had signs of wear so I returned them. There was a problem with the refund I that my account was credited instead of being refunded to PayPal. Customer service refunded this promptly though - just quite a faff!

Size 36 on the box but when opened was a size 37. So when I returned the shoes to the store I couldn’t see any hand sanitizer.

The shoes purchased were fine, but the delivery and returns policies need to be reviewed...the customer pays shipping fees for delivery AND return?! Ridiculous considering that most retailers offer free returns at the very least, if not free returns AND delivery. For that reason I will not purchase from Charles clinkard again.

I've given three stars because my previous experiences have been good. However, on this occasion they only sent one shoe and given the extremely limited time my child is going to be in school before September its now too late for a replacement pair and I had to buy elsewhere due to school uniform requirements.

Overall pretty satisfied with the service and quality of our purchase. What we felt let down with was the difficult to understand email we were as we had no idea whether the voucher we used had been taken off or otherwise due to an out of stock item on our order. When we called to query how much would be debited from our credit card it turns out that the voucher had not been applied. The call taker ensured that she would reapply this which she did, but failed to send us a confirmation email as promised.

My 1st time purchase was very disappointing. The item sent was what I ordered but in the wrong size and color?? I was emailed a free returns label, but an offer of a discount on the correct item would have enticed me to re-order. I gave 3* rating, as we all make mistakes, and I love the range of footwear, but I will be hesitant to reorder from C.C

I bought two pairs of shoes online, one pair the colour didn't match, the other pair the insoles came out after the first wear, may be that was why they were in sake

Let me first say that the Customer Service people that I dealt with were excellent - very friendly and helpful. The quality of the shoes that I ordered left something to be desired. The first pair(size 6) were slightly too large but one shoe definitely appeared to be slightly larger than the other. The replacement pair (size 5.5) arrived with one shoe having a large scratch in the leather near the heel.I contacted Customer Service and advised them that I did not want to pay for yet another return and they kindly supplied a postage paid label. I was advised that you only had one pair left in stock and asked the young lady to check if these were perfect.A day later she came back to me to advise that these shoes were "ok but not 100% perfect". I decided against buying shoes that were again not perfect and obtained a refund. This experience did make me wonder if some of these SALE items are in fact substandard.

My purchase came with a free gift, which I am still waiting for. I have telephoned on 2 occasions and advised the gift will be sent in the post. I am hoping it will arrive before my daughters birthday.

My shopping experience was ok. I entered my card details and then a box appeared stating my card hadn’t been accepted. I didn’t re-enter my details as I wasn’t sure whether it was a scam. After ringing your Contact Centre it was confirmed my card had been accepted.

I explained the service failures to the Covid-19 situation. When placing my order I did not receive an acknowledgement including proposed date of delivery which I had to request. I did not feel the service was as good as in the past.

Unfortunately, the shoes I received were not exactly the one I had ordered. although I decided to keep them, they are not as comfortable and are laced up shoes, which was not what I had asked for.
