I ordered two pairs of shoes as not sure which size required. When they arrived I found the soles of the shoes were not what I needed, so had to return both pairs. I was not happy to find that I had to pay the return postage, which cost me £11.00. I will not be using Charles Clinkard again.

Hello, Thank you for your message. I'm sorry to hear the sandals you purchased were unsuitable. As you've suggested, returns are at your own cost however for future reference, you can return via Collect + for as little as £4.49 or return them to one of our branches. ordered converse fir my daughter. box arrived a bit battered . no paper inside box just thrown in . one shoe had obviously been a display model as still had a little tag listing sizes on it. all marks over shoe and looked diff colour to other . really dissapointed as even though in sale u expect brand new shoes . hoping for refund asap as need to rebuy for daughters birthday

The item was ordered to be delivered at the store on a Thursday- the following Friday it had still not been received and no explanation as to why not. I did receive an email to say my parcel had been delivered and left in a porch but when I went to the store I was told that email was mot for me!!!! Not sure about GDPR - why my data was used for someone else's order????? So in the end order cancelled and refunded. I have made many purchases in store over the years but never ordered on line from yourselves. This experience has put me off - whilst your store staff are very helpful I feel this reflects badly on your firm as a whole and I probably won't return to shop either in store or online

Despite buying 1/2 size bigger, the buckle on the sandals were hurting my daughter's toes so we had to return them. Very disappointed to have to pay for this. Will order directly from Clarks.

Hello Julie Thankyou for your email. We were unsuccessful in locating a previous order for this style however are unaware of any changes to the Lunar style. If you have ordered the same size as previous and have had the sandals a while, the will mould to your foot. Your feet can change through a period of time and we cannot guarantee that the same style/size will fit especoially as this is such a personal thing to each customer. We accept back returns if they are unworn and we offer a 35 days period into which to return for a refund or exchange. This can also be processed in a Charles Clinkard store. We pride ourselves on our Customer Service and are naturally disappointed you felt that on this occasion this was not up to the standard and will of course pass over your comments internally. I ordered size 10 junior trainers and received size 5 adults. I contacted customer services who were very helpful and arranged for the courier to swap and collect for the next day as my daughter needed them for the following day for camp! The courier never arrived!!! I emailed customer service again to express my disappointment and ask for prepaid returns form to be sent which they did. Very dissatisfied.

A collection was arranged to pick up the incorrect item and replace with the correct one however we are investigating why this did not occur. the shoes had been clearly used before outside. There MUD AND GRIT on the soles and the toes were slightly scuffed.

The shade variance of the shoes I ordered made them look like odd shoes, almost one blue and one grey ! Very disappointing that something as basic as this is not checked before sending out the order for delivery. It would have saved my wasted time in waiting for them to arrive then having to return them and surely it would also save you money on avoidable postage costs.

Firstly I didn’t get offered the £5 discount everyone gets on their first order ! My order took ages to process and then when the products arrived the boxes were battered and I emailed you and never heard back. Shocking service to be honest !

Also, I have been unable to track down your recent email about the condition of the Saltwater boxes however would like to apologise they were received in poor condition. The boxes are there to offer protect the items during transit, prior to dispatch the boxes are checked to ensure in good condition and possibly the damage has occurred during the travel process. Recently received the correct style sandal for my little girl but the colour is not what I ordered. I received all white and the picture had lovely multi coloured flowers on them. Very disappointed but couldn't send them back as needed them for a party.

No confirmation of purchase, not one email what's happening with my order. Called them after 3 days of my purchase to ask if my order was dispatched and the customer service told me that they are waiting for my product. Never contacted me that there would be a delay. Returns are on your cost, so if yours shoes don't fit you and you need a different size you have to pay for the postage. Would not recommend to anyone

Hello Thankyou for your review. Naturally we are disappointed with your feedback, Express delivery is dispatched within 2-3 working days and does not include the weekends. As we source stock from our warehouse and stores, if the item is not available in our main warehouse then we do ask for this to be brought in to us however this does add a delay. When placing your order an email is sent across to confirm the items and when we dispatch we also send over further information, this confirms your order details, address and ecncloses tracking. I went to the Leeds branch on tues morn to buy some shoes for my sons wedding .thought I'd treat myself as I would not usually spent over £100 on shoes. I asked for navy blue with a mid heel.I was brought blue flat heavy shoes to try on for size.! I said id had seen some on line but would like to try for size.assistant said why did I bother going in shop just buy on line does she want a job! Needs more customer training.wont go again.neither will friends or family.

My order No. RZ116354882GB was ordered on June 8th, 2018. Until this date, June 19, 2018 it has not arrived at its destinity. I would appreciate if you can let me know the outcome of my order. Needless to say I cannot answer your questions about the delivery etc.

I sent back a pair of shoes I ordered. Although the receipt of the shoes was confirmed, I never received my refund of appr. € 80,-, although I was informed that a refund would take place.

I ordered a pair of shoes instore at Teeside Park,paid for next day delivery but they took 2 days and they were damaged.Returned them to Darlington store and they gave me a refund.I reordered the shoes on line and when they arrived they were the SAME DAMAGED PAIR.How can this happen?Not good customer service!I returned this pair to Keswick branch.the manager could not have been more helpful and was very apologetic.She gave me a refund.

I ordered a Bamboo Metallic Van Dal Clutchbag to match a pair of Van Dal shoes in the same colour The bag was delivered with rust on the metallic clasp. Customer Services immediately refunded the £5.99 which I had paid for next day delivery, plus a pre-paid returns label, and refunded the cost of the bag (£60) once it had been received by them and examined Although the response in terms of payment for postage was appreciated, this was overall a very disappointing experience, and I would not have purchased this bag from a charity shop - never mind a respected retailer for the cost of £60. I believe that the bag must have been in stock for a considerable length of time to begin to rust
