Bought a pair of Gabor sandals by ordering online - have had the style before and wanted same again in a different colour. Arrived quickly, emails to give me a time slot so all good. Lovely sandals but really disappointed that they have a sale sticker on them showing £18 less than I paid.

My starlettos were sent in a plain brown envelope and was torn open, the reason I did not loose them was because my nice postie looked after them for me. My suggestion is you use padded envelopes. Christine Johnson

It was good being able to order my shoes from another store but they were a day late in being delivered so was i was a little worried in case i did,nt get them.

The shoes I ordered are to replace a pair I that bought 18 months ago so I knew they would fit & be comfortable - the only disappointment is the colour - instead of the cheerful red & matching bow of the previous pair they are a dark red (almost maroon) with a garish bright red bow (colours not as shown on website) Feel a few quality checks are called for!!

the left shoe seemed to be falling inwards not much support was dissapointed ans would cost to much to return them.Delivery was very fast and nice looking nshoes

Ordering online was easy. I chose to collect from store in Newcastle but had to wait almost 3 weeks but had no call or email to say shoes were ready to collect. I went to collect in the hope they would be there and they were. Staff in store were very helpful

Shoes were as expected from Barkers except for a very minor blemish on one shoe. However I was disappointed with the packaging. To begin with the shoes were not in the correct box. The internal packing for the shoes was not as expected in the normal way. In addition the usual Barkers extras were missing i.e. a duster & a shoe horn. Whilst I do appreciate that the shoes were at a reduced price I have purchased many other shoes on special offer they have always included the items mentioned.

I purchased these shoes, thinking it be a good and comfortable fit as Gabor suppose to be a good make. But I can't walk in them very long before my feet start hurting. For that reason I can't enjoy them at the moment I hope they will become comfortable in time ............

The products ordered were of excellent quality and very well made. The fit was perfect. However I paid for Next Day Delivery, and the shoes took 7 days to arrive, which was very disappointing. Apart from the slow response, would have been 5 star review.

My comments relate more to the delivery courier used by the company rather than the service from Clinkard. Every time I have purchased goods it has taken nearly 2 was to get them due to the poor service of the courier - please consider using Royal Mail or similar standard

The bag did not seem to be the same as the last one I bought.did not have the name sirco printed into the lining.quite disappointed.

I placed 2 separate orders and was extremely pleased with the products. However, the delivery service was poor - having been emailed saying delivery would be on certain days and times, these did not happen. It was Christmas week so i understand it was pretty hectic, and we did finally receive the goods in time for Christmas, thanks to Charles Clinkard doing what they could, and a fantastic manager at the delivery company. I would definitely purchase products again, but will try and buy instore next time rather than online!

Liked the style of these boots, but they were far too big. I'm consistently a size 37 (UK4), but these seemed more like a 5. I was tempted to order a replacement in size 3, but because returns are not free (and it cost me £6.40 to return the parcel as it has recommended it is returned tracked), I decided against it. Good service and online ordering, but so many companies offer free returns now through Collect+ or free returns label that I wouldn't use again, sorry!

Very quick delivery= very good, Boots I ordered were, unfortunately, too small and narrow so I had to return. Paying for return=not good! I hadn't read the returns procedure so I was surprised to have to pay over £6.00 to send these boots back to CC. Learnt my lesson. Read the returns rules!! Would be good if CC could use a company like "Collect Plus".

I would not purchase again from yourselves. I lost £10 returning the goods. Expensive online shopping. Returns should be free as it is with most online businesses today. Online order processing was straight forward. Price competitive. Delivery was quick. Product good but did not fit so had to return However, it cost me £10 to return boots recorded delivery

Sadly the first pair of shoes which arrived were faulty but I ordered a second pair and they were fine. The minus point is that although the price of the shoes was refunded the p & p for the return was not. Still waiting for a response to my e mail. A pity.

Didn't deliver what I ordered! However, I liked the boots they sent so I didn't complain or return. They owe me a fiver!!!

The goods took a few days to arrive (a bit slow by some standards) but when they did they were well packaged. The shoes were too big and so had to go back. Unfortunately you have to pay for returns (again unusual compared to others) which meant that I didn't want to risk re-ordering in case the replacement didn't fit either.

Ordering online, easy, delivery slow but packaging okay, however when I returned the boots I ordered to the Clinkard shop in Talke, Stoke on Trent I was faced with a barrage of questions, "we're the boots all right" no I replied they are too big but again I was asked thee times If the boots were all right, to which I responded in they are too big. The whole episode was very strange as how could the boots be all right if I was returning them!
