Although the sandals arrived on time and I was aware that I would have to pay for any returns. I was so surprised and upset that that it cost me just under £15 to return them. As I am disabled at could not get to the shop to return them, I had no choice in paying the cost. I feel that you would get a lot more customers buying online if they had not to pay the returns cost. It has made me think twice before buying again from you on line. Regards

Hello Thank you for your valuable feedback. Unfortunately, whilst we offer free delivery on all of our orders, we don't offer free returns at the moment. This is something we regularly review and I will of course pass all your comments on for that purpose. For future reference, there is a link in our returns section on our website to a Collect+ returns service, which costs £4.09 for up to 10kg worth of shoes. We offer this as an alternative to Royal Mail to help minimise our customer's costs in returning their shoes to us. I do hope with this in mind, you will reconsider shopping with us again in the future, and if you do have any other questions regarding our returns policy, please don't hesitate to get in touch with one of our friendly customer services team who will be happy to help. Dear Anonymous, Thankyou for your email. Our standard delivery service is up to 5 working days to dispatch. Your order was placed on the 21st June 2017 and we dispatched the items for you on the 24th of June 2017. Dear Anonymous Thankyou for your email. We are sorry to hear you were sent the incorrect size. We note you ordered the Saltwater brand, these are stamped with the US sizing so if you requested the UK 9 then a US 10 would be on the base and the box of the shoes. As this is a US style, all the sandals are +1 size up from a UK. Boots arrived quickly. They had obviously been worn as the leather had crease lines across the toe area and the soles were slightly grubby. The boots are a present for my daughter's birthday but not enough time to send them back.

Initially incorrect shoes delivered.Checked website to find shoes sent were in the sale.Contacted Clinkard by 'phone to explain that although the shoes were not the ones ordered we would keep them at the reduced price and requested refund of difference.This was done only after I took the shoes to the Newcastle shop as proof that they were old stock.The mistake was Clinkards in the first place! but I had to prove I was telling the truth.I have been a good customer for many years.

Hello Doris, Thank you for your review. Naturally, I am disappointed to hear of your recent shopping experience. Here at customer services, we aim to provide an excellent service to each customer and I am sorry if you feel this was not met with your query. I have reviewed your order and can see that unfortunately, the older season stock of this style was supplied. This should have been picked up during our rigorous dispatch checks and I am sorry that this was not the case with your order. I can see that you spoke with my colleague Michael on the 31/5/17 to advise you would like to keep the stock with a refund of the difference in cost. Although I can understand your frustration, as a standard procedure, we do need to see a sales tag if the customer contacts disputing the price paid. This is true for many companies and I am sorry if you felt we were acting unfairly. We of course understand that going into a local store is not suitable for all customers and we therefore initially ask the customer if they would like to send an image of the tag via e mail. I can see that my colleague Demi had left you a voice message on the same date you had contacted us to ask if this would have been suitable for you. I can then see that you spoke with Michael again to advise it was your preference to take them into the store. I am pleased to see that after your visit into the branch on the 2/6/17 we were able to assist you in providing a refund of the difference in cost. We of course value all our customers and I am sorry if you felt we had not upheld the customer service we aim to provide. We hope that you will continue to shop with us in the future. The delivery was good. It wasn't their fault that they didn't fit. and that I have to return the goods. I wish the site locator showed the shops on an overall map, not as a list: the nearest shop to return the goods is in an awkward place and it would have been more helpful to be able to look on a general map as I travel around quite a lot and could look for alternatives en route to my destinations. Other companies have free collection/returns; I might choose them in future.

Hi.Ordered 2 weecks ago still didnt get item.DPD driver never come on the date of delivery/was home waiting get msg tht no one was home for delivery??Ask to investigate nothing happened.Was informed that it gone with the other type of delivery it should reach me tomorrow.If tomorrow my item not delivered i want my money back.Night mare!!!!!

Easy website, quick delivery, but latest order contained one item which should not have been despatched as one shoe was very obviously badly stained so clearly a failure in your drspatch checks

In an age of overnight delivery(Amazon Prime) Charles Clinkard is a touch sluggish.

Hello John, Our free delivery service can take up to 5 working days to dispatch, but is usually much quicker than this. Express is £2.99 and can take up to 3 working days but again is usually sooner and overnight delivery is available for £5.99. Order and delivery was straightforward. However, I bought my son some shoes which turned out to light up at every step. The description on your website did not mention a word of this. So I have returned them.

It's great to see lots of makes and the styles available in one shop. Shame not many of them in stock to actually try on.
