The order was dealt with very quickly & efficiently. Unfortunately, the shoe in the size 6.5 was not available when the order was being prepared which was a bit disappointing since the size 6.0 that was sent turned out to be too small. Please revise your stock system in order to avoid this happening again.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that the 6 that you ordered was too small and the 6.5 that you ordered was unavailable. Sometimes demand will outstrip supply which has happened here, although we try to avoid the item still showing as available it can on occasion receive an order for that item. When a credit/debit card is used, we do not take any payment until the point of dispatch so no payment is taken. Love the Gabor shoes, customer service not so much. Empty Meadowhall shop, two assistants chatting, I was looking for help with a well fitting shoe because of bunions. Assistants not helpful with helping me choose and fit until I decided to buy, then very eager to upsell cleaning products and urged me to give feedback. Why were they unaware they might not come out of that well? Followed link to website given with the receipt, it said "How did we do?" But not easy to find where to give feedback. Hence only 3 stars

I do love my superga, currently wearing them touring Italy. However when I got them the right shoe was dirty(appeared shop worn) I didn't mind as I wanted them asap and delivery was very fast. But someone else may be disappointed at the not so fresh new look of one shoe.

I loved these shoes but the toe on the right shoe was not the same shape as the left shoe and it really did notice, I was extremely disappointed. The staff were very helpful and checked their stock but unfortunately they all had fault. The help with return and refund was very good. If the fault could be corrected I would love to own them, such good quality leather.

My product was disappointing as one pair was cancelled with no explanation, and I had to return the other pair as they were damaged, my return in the store was quick and easy.

Dear Anonymous, Thankyou for your review. When you placed your order for the sandals, they were a low stock item which means there are around three or less pairs available. As we also sell stock through stores as well as online, the items may sell out and unfortunately we are then forced to cancel the items. I can confirm that we sent an email to you via your order on the 14th August to apologise and advise that the item required was not available and a refund was issued back to the method of payment. the first three pairs of shoes I bought were great, then a pair of slippers which, before I bought I spoke to a lady who told me the ones I wanted were really quite a slim fit so I ordered them, when they arrived they were not a slim fit so I had to return them, the next pair of shoes were lovely except there was a fault in the way the toe was finished on one shoe, all others were the same so no replacement. I shall still look for my shoes first at Charles Clinkard and hope all will be ok, no complaints about delivery or returns and refunds

Dear Anonymous Thankyou for your review. We ask customers to pay for returns as we offer a very competitive standard delivery service which is free and with the customer in 2- 5 working days. Items can be taken to a Charles Clinkard store free of charge or sent back either via Royal Mail, Hermes or other additional alternatives. Collectplus have a good return service, £4.23. which covers up to 10KG in weight and would have been ideal for the multiple items you returned. Time between order and dispatch was slow compared to most other online retail stores. Returns are not free, which is a big let down.

This does not include weekends currently and your parcel was sent on the 4th working day. We do have faster delivery options available, including Express (£2.99) which is guaranteed dispatch within 2-3 working days and additionally, if the product is available in the warehouse, Next Day at £5.99 would have your item delivered to you on the next working day as long as the order is placed before 3pm. With regards to returns, we ask customers to return items to us at their own cost, you can also take returns to a local Charles Clinkard store where a refund/exchange will be processed.
