“Up in York for the weekend and about to visit the Jorvik Centre l saw the shoe shop and just popped in. Saw a pair of shoes l liked and was trying one on when Sue came to help. I had tried on a size 38 though 37 is my usual size. Sue found the size 37 for me and l thought maybe even a size 36 might be better. She then brought me the 36 but we both agreed it was the 37 that l needed. But there wasn't size 37 in the colour l wanted. Sue explained she could order them for me. I told her l was leaving York the next day which is when she told me they could be delivered to my home at no extra charge. This was great news and l am looking forward to their delivery later this week. Sue was very charming and really helpful and l now read she has managed the store for 20 years. She is a credit to the company and it is very nice to find an independent shoe store with high quality products on sale. Thank you, Sue for all your help and long may you continue to please us.”

“Great website with many different options to choose from. I’ve got a pair of Lotus sandals from last year and very happy with them. I needed a new pair for a wedding so I ordered several because I wasn’t sure which would work. Delivery was without a hitch. Returns are easy too so I will return those that haven’t fit well. “Lovely, extremely patient lady who servd me this morning....the shop was very busy...think everyone was shopping before the heat really kicked in! The shop was beautifully cool, however i imagine that the store room was a different story....so a big thankyou for being patient and getting me the couple (6!!!!) different styles out. Very happy with the two pairs i bought....one pair to be delivered free of charge to my home as the colour had faded because it had been in the window Will defineatly shop here again”
