Arrived promptly Unfortunately the boots were too big and it cost nearly £10 to send them back securely.

Thank you for your review. You can take returns back to any Charles Clinkard store where you can return for free, or you can choose any postal service that you wish. Royal Mail second class is the cheapest method, but if you choose signed for next day for example, that would be expensive. There is no need to choose this method, as second class only take 24 hours longer to arrive and we process all returns within 3 working days. There is also a link on our website where for £4.49 you can return up to 10 kilo using a tracked service. This link is to Collect + who have outlets where you can drop off your package. I hope that this information is of help for future reference. You also have up to 365 days to return an item so long as unworn. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

Quite pleased with handbag would have liked strap to be longer, no measurement confirmed. Took a while to arrive would have liked confirmation of dispatch

Had to return boots as far too narrow. Also returns cost too much. It cost over £9 to return my boots. Didw nt want to risk losing the refund full amount! Returns policy needs to be easy and cheaper.

Thank you for your review. There is a link on our website to collect + where for £4.49 you can buy a label to cover up to 10 kilo of returns. You can also take back to any Charles Clinkard site for full refund, and so long as unworn, you have up to one year. I do hope that this helps for future reference. Clear website and prompt despatch. Unfortunately they sent the order to a different Click and Correct than the one I specified. My e mails weren't answered. A pity, otherwise there would be more stars.

Disappointed that I was not kept informed that my DPD delivery had actually been delivered to the requested Post Office as it sat there for 6 days until I checked. I'm also getting rather annoyed at getting email reminders that I have something in my "basket" and to complete my order AFTER I had already made the purchase. Saying all of that the items were as normal very good.

Thank you for your review. We did send an email to you to confirm your order and another on the day of dispatch. DPD do text customers to let them know once the order has arrived, but unfortunately there was no telephone number on your order. You will be able to check this from your order confirmation. I apologise that you were unaware that your order had arrived. I am not sure why you are getting emails with regard to an item in your basket as I cannot see another incompete order, but these are auto generated and usually you would only get 2 to 3 maximum. Great shoes , however, if not sure about sizing, its very expensive to return the parcel. As the shoes I have bought were expensive (over £100 a pair), it wasn't covered if sent by Yeodel (as it covers only £50) or any tracked delivery. Therefore, I had to pay £32.9 to return two parcels by special delivery guaranteed (so, if lost, the cost would be covered). Next time will try to order from the different supplier, as Charles Clinkard does not pay even a fraction of return postage cost.

Thank you for your review. We do deliver free of charge and also cover the cost of delivery to the customer should they ask for an exchange, but do ask for the cusotmer to pay for any returns. You can also take shoes back to a Charles Clinkard store, you have one not too far from you, and have up to a year to return so long as unworn. We are sorry to hear that you have paid so much for the order to be returned to us. It does appear as though you may have also paid for a next day service, which is not needed. I can see that you have returned 4 pair of shoes to us in 2 parcels, you can choose a courier rather than Royal Mail if you prefer, for example, if you do not use our link to Yodel, you can buy a label with tracking with Yodel or DPD for example, and add insurance which is a lot less in cost than you have paid. You can also put all 4 pair in one parcel so you only pay for one delivery. I do hope that this helps for future reference. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

Shoes were perfect however i didnt receive notification they were ready for collection. The shop also told me they would call when available and failed

You need to come into the 21 st century and use pre paid labels if someone has to return. Items Your shoes are great but I would never buy from you again

Thank you for your review. we do cover the cost of delivery but ask customers to cover the cost of returns. If you need an exchange, we also send the replacement out covering the cost of delivery again. You can buy a label from our website for £4.49 which covers up to 10 kilo, choose your own service, such as Royal Mail second class with tracking, or take back to any Charles Clinkard store. This was my first online purchase though I have shopped in store many times over the years. I chose for my purchase to be delivered to my local store so I had more choice should these ones not fit. My in store collection experience was very good but my reason for 3 stars is the 6 day wait from ordering to collection. The emails I received regarding delivery were also worded as though the parcel would be delivered to me at home which I found confusing. Clearly this process is automated once my order has been ‘picked and packed’. Choosing store delivery I expected a much quicker response than a home delivery but sadly it appears to be the same. Apart from this I am very happy with my sandals and will likely shop with Charles Clinkard online (as well as I store) again

Thank you for your review. The delivery timescale for out free delivery service is the same if you have a home delivery or an instore delivery. We advise that it can take 2 to 5 working days to dispatch. The reason that some orders may take a little longer, is because if the item is not in our warehouse, we need to wait for it to come in to us before we can dispatch. We apologise for any inconvenience, most orders are dispatched more quickly, but on occasion, they can take up to the 6 working days for them to arrive. I ordered some muck boots and they sent the wrong colour and size customer service were very nice and refunded the.money quickly however I ordered another pair and the same thing happened

We always find the service at Wetherby exemplary, and this time Joshua was particularly helpful, suggesting the styles and colours to go with the outfits for our son's wedding. We also liked the chance to take our shoes home to try them with our wedding clothes.

Lovely shoes ordered but small sized when they arrived & had to return them. Expensive shoes that then cost me return postage! Won't buy from them again

Delivery ok, although delivery driver to busy on his phone to speak to me. Shoes had to be returned too narrow, not Clinkards fault but I was horrified @ having to pay to return it cost me £12.00 will not be ordering from Clinkards again.

Express shipping was misleading. Yes the order was delivered quickly after being dispatched but wasn't aware that I'd have to wait 3 days for shipping. 4 days after ordering is not Express shipping on any other website I have used. I would class this as standard shipping. Especially when you are paying extra for this service. The shoes were good and no problems there but wouldn't use again due to this unfortunately. If you are not in a rush then I would recommend but if you need them quickly I would look elsewhere.

I was delighted with my Skechers purchase, so much so I decided to order another pair in the alternative colour. I was amazed that the price had increased by £25 in the space of 4 days since my order. I made a telephone call but was told that I would have to pay the higher price. Very disappointing. I did find the same shoes at another store at a competitive price.

Love the shoe but too small - I'm normally a size 6, I ordered a 6.5 and it looks like I will need a size 7.

Website is fine- choice of footwear excellent. However the boots I purchased leak like a sieve in the rain. I was really pleased with them. Good fit, look good too. But in the rain not only were my socks yet but the whole inside of the shoe was also wet. So disappointed.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you are disappointed with your purchase. Many of the Rieker ladies boots, are manufactured using a hand stitched lasted method of construction. This along with soft natural and synthetic materials used in the manufacture of Rieker footwear provides supreme flexibility and comfort features, for which the Rieker brand has become renowned. However with this construction method there is a possibility that water can penetrate the stitch holes. Considering this, unless the style is advertised as waterproof, unfortunately, there may be some water ingress. 1st boot order came with faulty toe Reordered boots looked ok When putting the 1st boot on the loop on the heel to aid putting the boot came apart from the stitching I now need to find a cobbler to repair Dissapointing
