I loved the shoes but they were faulty. I returned them but haven't heard anything back yet. I haven't received a replacement or a refund. Disappointing.

Ordering and delivery process very smooth, my new boots are high quality. Unfortunately I did not get my discount for opening a new account.

My shoes were delivered to another street by DPD. If it wasn’t for the honesty of the home owner I don’t know if I would have had my shoes. I emailed CK and have had no response. I phoned and wasn’t impressed with the ambivalence of the person I spoke to. When I opened the box it was clear the shoes had been worn as the soles were dirty and the ankle straps undone / so clearly not checked by staff when they were returned. You can’t beat CL for product choice but DPD delivery needs to be changed to another provider. There was no way I could contact DPD they don’t have an email address or telephone number on there messages to customers.

The shoes that I kept were lovely, however, your recommendation on returns was to send them back tracked. So the pair I did return cost me £9.95 to return! If I had know this cost originally I probably wouldn't have ordered from you.

The shoes are good when finally got them but DPD went to wrong house to deliver and a nightmare ensued. Clinkards helped but also had to contact DPD several times before it was sorted. Order was for next day delivery but finally arrived 5 days later. Clinkards repaid extra delivery cost. Total frustration. Do not use DPD!

I've purchased in store many times and so I was confident purchasing online. Unfortunately one of the two pairs of shoes I ordered was faulty and the other pair I didn't like in the flesh. Fortunately, because one pair was faulty, I was able to get a free return label to return both pairs (I'd have had to pay to return the pair I didn't like otherwise, which in itself has put me off purchasing online from this brand).

You're correct, our returns policy currently is that customers pay for their returns or if you have a Charles Clinkard store nearby, you can visit our store with your return - I can see that our Bristol store is the closest one to you. I ordered two pairs of Gabor shoes same style and size and fitting one pair fits well the other tight and seems smaller,so have to return them.

Ordering easy. Delivery quick. Unfortunately, one of the slippers was not put together properly so we're unsuitable. Returned, and reimbursed without quibble. Company good to deal with.

Quality shoes available all year round. I prefer to shop in a store as delivery times are dissapointing!

Thank you for your review. We do have different delivery options available, the standard free service being up to 5 working days maximum to dispatch, an express service for £3.99 where items are dispatched in a maximum of 3 working days, and also if the item is in our warehouse, an overnight service for £5.99 can be chosen where the item will be with you the next working day so long as ordered before 5pm. This means that even on our free service that it will be a maximum of 6 working days for you to receive the item, but could be sooner. Items bought online, can be returned to store for refund. Dont order from them if you need things in a hurry. Paying for express delivery means once they are finally shipped from their warehouse, you will get them quickly. The shoes themselves are great though, i am on my 4th pair.

I purchased a pair of Gabor balletina shoes size3 from the Ilkley store......they had next day delivery as not in stock.........The lady attending me was very helpful.... And I was thrilled with them..... Wanted to upgrade my style and use as slippers........However the disappointment came when I found the leather bow on the front squeaked.......and had to return.......not as pleasant a reaction from staff.....I explained that if sprayed with WD40 or talcum powder they wouldn't make a noise but not worth the risk. So sadly these excellent shoes have been returned.......

Received the item but unfortunately were too small so took back to Wetherby shop to get a refund. Was disappointed in the state of the shoes when they arrived as they were badly packaged and also looked like they’d been worn and had I not been returning for credit would have complained. Was questioned by sales staff about the wear when I returned to the shop!!! Disappointed re after sales service
