Good But the boots advertised as wide fit gave me blisters on bone. Shame So disappointed. Need extra wide

Thank you fo ryour review. We are sorry to ehar that this boot was not a good fit for you. We do allow time for people to try the items in their own home before wearing outside so that can check for fit, and ensure that they are comfortable before wearing outdoors. If these have been worn outdoors, if you wait until your blisters heal and then wear them around the home until your feet get used to them, you may find that they do become comfortable and you are able to wear them. The boots arrived but were not matching sizes so had to be sent back. Surely someone should check this before they were despatched? One was a 39 and one was a 40.

With regards to the shoes that you received, all items should be checked before sending, we will mention this to the dispatch team and advise to be more vigilant and avoid disappointment to others. Everything was very well and good however I had to make a return and was disappointed we are asked to pay for this service especially during lockdown when we cannot visit a store

I've been buying these sandals and wearing them all day every day since 1996; this is my 3rd pair in 24 years. The shoes are mainly as good s ever, apart from one thing - someone has decided that it would be a good cost cutting measure to reduce the amount of velcro you can use as an attachment and therefore, has reduced the amount of space you can use to connect the shoe ato the strap. This makes everything smaller and it means, for me, that the shoe is tighter. What a shame. Next time I need sandals, should the Lord give me the time, I will spend longer looking at competotors' sandals. I attach 2 (bad) photos to illustrate this. I didn't use the Clinkard website - I used Amazon, and the depiction was OK, though I wasn't looking or expecting reductions in strapping. Overall, not as good as previously.

After my online purchase I had to phone as my purchase was not confirmed by email although the money had been taken from my account. I was worried that I had bought from a genuine site.

Excellent service, prompt delivery. Good quality boots. However I had to order 2 sizes as I was uncertain on the fit, only to find I have to pay to send back the other pair. Will not be ordering on line again, will have to wait for your shops to open.

Hello, we recently ordered for our son. You sent us the wrong size shoe even though the box and our invoice states they are a child’s size 7, inside they are a 7.5. We really like the shoes so have decided to keep them for when he does become that size. It has meant though we have had to spend more money on a shoe that fits him now.

Hello Thankyou for your review. The Converse style are a USA brand and they do convert their EU sizes differently. You ordered a UK 7 however these are marked up as a 7.5 inside the shoe and alsoon the outer box however we can confirm the correct size was posted, we have checked other pairs and we unfortunately dont have a pair marked solely with a size 7 on them We have contacted you seperately to this review to offer further information and hope you will return to us in the future. Goods arrived quickly. Unfortunately not suitable, it's difficult to get a good fit when ordering online. Returns are at your own expense and inconvenience, you are advised to use a tracked service but no service offered. Furthermore, I received an email asking me to refer new customers with the offer of 20% discount for both parties ........ big mistake, this was just click bait. The person I referred was told the offer was no longer valid and I did not receive my discount for the referral. Not keen on this sort of misleading marketing. Will not be using Charles Clinkard again.

Ordered boots from clinkard at a cost of £2.95 delivery. too narrow,had to pay £4.95 to return them. Never again.

You can return to a Charles Clinkard store or to our Head Office. We recommend a tracked service, as we do not take responsibility for the parcel until it has been signed for at our Head Office. A Collect Plus label can be purchased through the returns section of our website, this standardises the price to £4.49. This covers up to 10kg of returns and is useful for multiple purchases or heavier items. You also currently have up to 365 days to return as long as the items are unworn and in the original packaging, you can have an exchange or a refund. I paid for next day delivery, but the member of staff who packed my order forgot to add my door number. I only knew what had happened when I received an email saying my order was being delivered to the new address I'd requested (which I hadn't), it caused stress & panic, until I spoke to a member of staff who informed what had happened. Next day delivery cost was refunded.

I received my slippers and was happy with the purchase. However, somehow I managed to order 2 pairs instead of one. Therefore I have been charged delivery for 2 pairs at £2.99 each and have now had to pay a £3.85 return delivery for the 2nd pair. This has made the slippers £10 more expensive than I had expected. I really feel that in these difficult times, you should offer free returns!!

Good service but the one boot had no suede on the toe section at all. Was very disappointed but needed boots straight away so kept. Wont buy from you again

Sorry for the lower score, the delivery did not arrive at my address but was left at a neighbouring one. I received text message saying delivered but had to go on a expedition to find it. Product received is fine, when I eventually found out where it was.

I feel that Charles Clinkard is a retail shop based business with an on line business on the side. Everything works but not at the speed of an online based business.

Order was £30 which I thought inc free postage, it doesn’t it needs to be over £30.. I think this should be made clearer so this is a heads up to anyone wondering if their purchase qualifies.
