“We would like to thank Natalie Stuart at Barhead Travel for the knowledgeable and professional way she organised our recent holiday in Canada. We had hotels in 4 different places, the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper to Vancouver and an ALASKA cruise, including all transfers and pick-ups etc. Everything went like clockwork the whole time. We were travelling with my brother and his wife and even the requests to have rooms close together and a table for 4 on the cruise all worked out. We would certainly use Barhead again in the future and recommend them to anyone. Ivor and Joan Davies”

“The actual holiday to Canada and Alaska with numerous hotels,transfers, tours, cruise etc was excellent however, the stress caused by the lack of tickets 1 week before we left and with no date for when we would get them was unacceptable at best. Our travel consultant, Hannah Esdaile was excellent but she was on holiday when our tickets were due to be sent and no one would helps or take ownership. I even dealt with the office manager who did, eventually, sort things out. I was copied in (by e mail) to office politics about insufficient staff and hence no tickets were being issued! When Ipay over £10,500 for a holiday I want an efficient service from Booking to completion. If I was reviewing the holiday alone it would have been very good.”

“many thanks to Adla Toal at barrhead travel for booking and organizing this holiday it was just perfect throughout,we were very impressed from the start,and everything went perfectly,the hotels were first rate,and the rockie mountaineer train and the alaska cruise were fantastic,we will be telling all our friends about the holiday and the service that we received thankyou so much for a holiday of a life time.mr and mrs walker”

“A big thank you to Adla Toal for all her help in ensuring we had a fantastic 30th Wedding Anniversary celebration whilst cruising in Alaska. The entire holiday, including the Rocky Mountaineer Train trip from Banff to Vancouver was organised to perfection. My husband, Gary, and I will certainly contact Barrhead Travel if we decide to visit that area again!”

“We were a bit wary about using a company on the internet for a holiday which was to be a holiday of a lifetime that we had dreamed about for a number of years but decided to go ahead the holiday was fly to Calgary in Canada transfer to Banff for 2 nights then travel on the Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver stay for 2 nights then cruise the inside passage to Alaska returning to Vancouver for 2 nights before flying back to London Heathrow,we wanted transfers at each destination pre booked and a balcony on the cruise ship. We dealt with a lady named Natalie Stewart who we found very very professional and helpful throughout nothing was too much trouble and any query's were either answered by herself or one of her colleagues. When the time came to go we set off for Heathrow airport and from the moment we left to our return 2weeks later everything went according to plan no problems and we followed their information that they confirmed in writing and not if but when I travel to Canada again they will definitely be getting my business. Thanks for making our dream holiday into exactly that OUR DREAM HOLIDAY thanks again Lynne and Francis Johnson”

“We were very pleased with the help and advice given by Michelle and the whole organisation of our holiday .We needed to make a change after the booking was confirmed and this was handled very well. All the different aspects of our 3 week, three areas of Canada, went very smoothly with no problems. Thank you for your expertise and efficiency. We will be happy to recommend you to others.”

“Very pleased with how well our travel advisor (Hannah Esdaile) planned and tailored our holiday over the telephone to Canada (Vancouver, Alaska Cruise, Rocky Mountaineer, Banf and Quebec). A holiday of a lifetime for us, expensive but good value.”

“I was very pleased and impressed with the personal assistance I received when trying to book a non standard holiday. The price seems very reasonable and the speed of confirmation and the detail of the daily schedule was efficiently sent. Some of the detail of the holiday still needs to be sorted out and I hope I shall be as pleased with this element as I was with the initial work.”
