“From start to finish Michelle the travel expert helped us build the trip of a lifetime. Every elemant was smooth and well communicated. Hotels were spot on and the Rocky Mountaineer trip was the highlight of the journey. I wanted a SMALL seaplane trip to cap it all off, and Michelle organised that to perfection. I weould fully recommend this company to help you craft your holiday experience.”

“We haven't used Barrhead's Canada Travel specialists before, but we will certainly be coming back to them in the future. We called in to their shop near Glasgow Central Station just to see if they had a Canada brochure and were given the opportunity to chat with one of their Canada specialists. We met Adla, who chatted about what we were looking for an started to pull together a tailored plan for our consideration. Adla was very knowledgeable and was able to guide us through the best way to tailor our holiday. We checked a few things at home to make sure the dates were ok for us and then asked Adla to book it. Excellent 5 Star service, we would definitely recommend.”

“Had a wonderful holiday. Everything went smoothly, no issues with anything. The hotels Alda picked for us were in excellent locations, we were delighted with them. Calgary was beautiful & the stampede amazing. Banff was stunning. We did the big canoe trip down the Bow river which I’d highly recommend. Lake Louise and Moraine were stunning.Vancouver was good to see but the tours we did from there Whistler and Vancouver Island were fab. We would love to go back & if we do we will certainly use Barrhead Travel Canada Specialists again.”

“We had Adla helping us organise this very special trip. She was incredible accommodating and helpful, especially as we frequently changed our minds on durations and locations. We can't thank her enough. The trip was perfect, everything planned and orgnaised really well, we never were unsure what we were doing or where we should be. The tours were great and covered everything we wanted. An amazing trip, thank you so much.”

“I've just booked for a Canada trip with an Alaska cruise in 2027. Hannah was great to work with and seemed as excited as me about my trip! She showed amazing patience as I micromanaged every minute of the trip and was always fully responsive as if I was the only person she was dealing with. Looking forward to sharing my pictures next year!”

“David and I had the most fantastic adventure thanks to Adla. Everything went like clockwork. One of the most fantastic experiences we have had and we are world travellers, having been around the world several times. Highly recommended. We have talked about nothing else since our return. Nothing was left to chance and it all worked so well. Accommodation was excellent in Canada. Everyone should take a trip on the rocky mountaineer, what an experience ! The cruise around Alaska was fantastic, the wildlife and scenery unbelievable. Thank you once again for an unbelievable experience.”

“This the first time i used a travel agent to help build my holiday. Luckily i contacted Brian who put together an itinerary for me. We are going to Vancouver, banff and Calgary. We are also booked on the rocky mountineer between Vancouver and banff. We went back with some alternative hotels and nothing was too much trouble a new quote was emailed over quickly. Thanks again to Brian who I will use again. 5 star.”

“I can not thank Adla enough for putting together our once in a life time trip, Helpful doesn’t even cover it, she has been absolutely fantastic from start to finish and even after the holiday had finished, Nothing was too much trouble for her and she did everything possible to make it a dream vacation , her wealth of knowledge and experience were invaluable. We traveled to Calgary then onto Banff followed by the Rocky Mountaineer, into Vancouver then Toronto and Niagra falls. Everything ran like clockwork. We wil 100 % ask Adla to plan our next vacation, we can’t thank her enough, she was brilliant and so was the holiday , thank you.”

“We worked with Adla in Autumn 2025 to put together our bucket-list holiday for early summer of this year. She was incredibly knowledgeable and worked through several iterations of our itinerary to come up with a fabulous package for us. We travelled through Seattle onto an Alaskan cruise with Oceania into Vancouver and onward to the Rockies on the Rocky Mountaineer. We had some incredible experiences from whale watching, bear spotting, helicopter dog-sledding and a float-plane tour. The excursions recommended by Adla were great and all of the logistics and bookings worked exactly as they should. Thanks again Adla, we made some fantastic memories and would not hesitate to recommend Canada Travel Specialists and we will probably be back for more in the future.”

“Adla has put together an excellent itinerary for us using her in-depth knowledge including sharing advice from her own experiences on the centres we plan to visit. Her guidance also covered all the supporting requirements to get the most out of travel. If our multi centre trip turns out to match the comprehensive planning discussed it will be an excellent holiday.”

“Fantastic service in tailoring and booking our holiday with Adla - so helpful and communication has been brilliant so far, even a separate phone call to let us know of a small $6 increase on our hire car. If the holiday is as good as the customer service I'm sure we are in for a treat!”

“I cannot praise Brian Walker highly enough. Once more, he has made the booking of our Canadian trip effortless. His knowledge is extensive and nothing is too much bother. He is extremely professional, gives valuable advice when asked and deals with everything promptly and efficiently. Although all communication has been by either email or telephone, Brian is a friendly voice on the other end of the line. Although our trip is several months away, I have every confidence that it will be as well organised and smooth as on the last occasion he assisted us.”

“We have recently got home from a fantastic holiday in Canada. Adla was recommended to me by a family member. In August 2025 I rang her with a list of what we wanted to do and a list of our limitations, such as my recent liver transplant and my husband's blindness. Adla came up with an itinerary that suited us. We were independent with some free time but I didn't have to do all the work. Tours and transport links were organised. Hotels in Vancouver and Banff were great. The Rocky Mountaineer was fantastic. Banff was an adventure. We had such a good time, we have just booked with Adla for a return trip next year. Jasper here we come! As before trips are booked to accommodate what we want to do, allowing for our limitations. Thank you Adla, you have excellent knowledge combined with thought and understanding.”

“We have just returned from an amazing holiday on the Rocky Mountaineer. It was wonderful. Adla's knowledge, advice, efficiency and patience was fundamental in getting the itinerary sorted out and everything went perfectly, three plane trips, four hotels, two excursions and a wonderful train trip all within eight days worked wonderfully. Thank you Adla . The icing on the cake was that the train started off from Banff in the snow( in June) and we saw Grizzly and Black bears”
