“We were fortunate that Adla contacted us about our plans to visit Canada which we did not think was possible in 2026, but we are really impressed by her professionalism, range of knowledge and attention to prompt and clear customer service. Adla's advice has been invaluable in curating a trip of a lifetime and we are really grateful to her for all her help. The overall cost of the trip is good value for money and Adla discussed options regarding upgrades and where we could save costs as appropriate. I have complete trust and confidence in Adla and would recommend Canada Travel Specialists to other people. Adla is a credit to the Company and we have been extremely impressed by her throughout.”

“We recently booked our Canada & Alaska holiday with Adla Toal from Barrhead Travel. From our first contact Adla listened to our requirements & then gave us a suggestion for our trip & Adla got it exactly right. Adla very patiently went through all the flight options, explained all details regarding our cruise including cabin choice, location, drink package etc. Adla has also organised the second half of our trip to Banff on the Rocky Mountaineer suggesting excursions & hotels again based on her experience & excellent knowledge. At no point did we feel any pressure to book. A huge thank you to Adla a very knowledgeable, professional caring member of the Barrhead Travel Team. We are now excited and looking forward to our trip in August/September.”

“In 2025 we paid for a family holiday to Canada which included the Rocky Mountaineer Gold Service trip, unfortunately an unforseen personal issue arose. We made a request to all providers included in the trip, if the holiday could be moved to 2026, all providers apart from Rocky Mountaineer agreed to rearrange the holiday subject to acceptable alteration fees. Rocky Mountaineer was insistent on retaining 100% and would not entertain alterations, even after approaching management booking, senior vice president and CEO Mr Tristan Armstrong. Rocky Mountaineer remained totally unsympathetic.”

“Although I was a little apprehensive about the prospect of going on a cruise alone, Adla reassured me that there would probably be many other solo travellers. Adla guided me through the whole trip, booking all aspects of my requested journey, which seamlessly fitted together, allowing me to follow the planned itinerary without any difficulty.”

“We worked with Adla to book a real bucket-list holiday for 2026. Having given a brief outline of what we were looking for Adla worked diligently and patiently whilst preparing various options and fine-tuning to our final package. Communication was timely and clear and it was great to draw upon her personal experience and I would not hesitate in using this service again. It was a pleasure to work together and we now are counting down the days until we depart for our Alaskan cruise and Rocky Mountaineer adventure.”
