They were the only source able to supply my need. I did not appreciate paying over £4 for partial delivery when post office to the door would have been about £2. I was charged for a heavy catalogue I did not ask for.

Thank you for your feedback. We were pleased to hear that we were the only company source you could find stocking the product you needed. At BES we pride ourselves on our wide range of over 15,000 products. However, we were disappointed not to achieve a 5 star rating as we pride ourselves on an excellent service. Please note that all catalogues are free, we do not charge. Also that it is company policy to deliver products by courier so we can maintain our 99.5% next day delivery service levels. Exactly what I was looking for and at a good price. However, I was given a delivery date of Tuesday 22 May and it arrived Saturday 26 May. It didn’t really matter, but I received a catalogue the day after I placed the order, which was 21 May! Why wasn’t the order just sent with that. The products were far more important to me than a catalogue as I needed them for a job!

Please note that all products must be delivered by courier regardless of size. BES were great and did their part, however I would highly recommend they change their courier!!! UPS are horrendous, a whole week of lies saying they tried to deliver and didn't combined with saying they had delivered to a nearby Access Point which again was a lie!!! Never AGAIN!!!!!

Web site ordering a nightmare, never lets you sign in and then after 10-15 attempts it works. But as a whole, a good service provided.

First time using BES. Excellent value product compared to other suppliers. Unfortunately the website did not show my order when I logged in, I got no dispatch email, and I thought the package wasn’t going to turn up after a few days. It actually arrived quite quickly but had no name on the address label so ended up at the wrong department in the office. Also received a catalogue even after unticking the checkbox to say that I did not want one.

The parts I ordered were just the ticket. Postage was a little steep at £4.95 but would have been ok had the driver left the parcel at one of my neighbours. They didn't try. The parts were so small they would easily have fitted through a letterbox, but BES decided to include a catalogue requiring a box. Had to pick up from a local store. To be fair, BES have apologised but I would say, beware of delivery.

BES nearly always gets my order to me next day and accurately. Most of their products are good quality, and they stock some obscure lines that I can't get easily elsewhere. The website that has some annoying quirks, but staff are always helpful in working me around it. On the rare occasion that a product has been faulty, a refund has been processed without dispute and I have now placed a good number of orders with BES. Sadly the last lot of end-feed pipe fittings I've had from BES included a number of fittings that had no markings (manufacturer, size, standard) whatsover and the quality was not up to the standards I was used to getting from BES so I will probably be buying my end feed fittings elsewhere in future. While I understand BES usually does not show the brand of products, this is the downside of this practice: it's a bit like a box of chocolates.

The products were readily available, however I booked a pre 1030 delivery and at 1130 was still chasing delivery. The office advised that the driver wasn't able to find it on board however having rechecked had now found it and was on his way. It arrived around noon. We delayed our engineer as a result. I suspect the driver actually was working geographically rather than time-bands.

delivery and ordering was fine i ordered two toilet seat enclosed seat fasteners which could have been put into an envelope and sent out via the postal system instead i receive a large box containing the order i placed the extra cost of sending out a box with such a small part is crazy. i think you should review your procedures it may even save you money and costs certainly the customer would save on postage

While the product was first class the amount of packaging was a disgrace, far to much. This unit was a 1/8bsp end cap, 1" overhaul but came in a box 12inch x 9inch x 3inch and cost me £4.95 +vat P & P when it could have come in a padded envelope first class mail. Work needed on packaging.

Charged me over £5 to post small lightweight plastic pipe. Sent me a catalogue weighing almost a kilo in a box 20 times the size of the pipe. Unconscious
