“The overall service from BFD was great, there was a small wait until the bed was available, but I was kept updated and it was within the original timelines that I was quoted. Additionally I opted for the finance payment plan and that was very well organized and effortless compared to other companies. However the overall experience was let down by the actually delivery of the bed. When moving the goods from the van and into my flat, the 2 delivery people were struggling to carry very large boxes on their own and bashed the door frames several times whilst moving. It all seemed very rushed and I was even asked to help move large boxes myself. Furhermore once I opened the package (which were heavily dented) in addition to the bumps that I witnessed myself I realised there was a gouge in the centre of one of the boxes. This was so deep that it created a hole in the furniture itself.”

“Beautiful bed for 9year old.Only assembly was bit hard to do had to get someone more stronger then me.I would recommend.”

“I changed my order after it had been processed and they were able to accommodated me. However, my headboard was not delivered and I had to collect myself.”

“Excellent service throughout from the point of ordering to point of delivery. Delivery was at stated time and all came safe and sound. The only thing is the wooden slats for the bed frame are not very good quality - they are made of quite flimsy wood and one slat snapped in half within 2 days of bed being used.”

“Delivery occurred on the day promised. However, it was not possible for the delivery driver to contact me with a time so had to set aside the whole day for delivery. The delivery driver was unable to carry to the first floor where the bed was to be sited as he said this was an insurance issue. I'm sure he was correct but this resulted in me having to get someone to help carry it upstairs. All the parts clearly labelled and complete.”

“There was a problem with one of the female sockets for the allowance of the roller leg, it came away from the base. I had to fit it back into place, it looked to me that the socket base was out of alignment its not perfect. I did read the Terms and Conditions on repairs but with a large unit and especially a bed, I could not see this being returned due to the fact we would have had no bed ,surely in circumstances like this a company repair person would have to be available”

“We bought a king size divan storage bed and are very pleased with it. It arrived as promised and two very polite, helpful and efficient delivery men carried it in and located it in the upstairs bedroom as was requested. Putting the bed together was relatively straightforward but the 2 bolts and wingnuts supplied proved to be just too short. This was easily rectified by a visit to my nearby iron monger who fixed me up with 2 slightly longer bolts at minimal cost. The bed is relatively high off the floor but this is good for me and the mattress is nicely firm. Like all new beds it has taken some time to get used to it but we have now settled into it. The storage space is really big and that is a plus point. Overall this "new bed experience", from ease of ordering through delivery to installation has proved to be very positive.”

“The quality of the products was excellent. I would never use a high street bed company again as Bed Factory a Direct beats them hands down on Price. I saved £400 in comparison to other companies. My only frustration was that I booked a delivery date based upon when one of us would be home and they changed the day. Small inconvenience when you consider the saving we achieved.”

“Thank you for my bed! It's brill :) delivery information was communicated well and adhered to. prices very competitive. Will deffo use again. Only criticism... My bed came with no instructions for assembly.”

“The on line purchase process worked well. The bed delivery date was delayed by 2 days. However, I received plenty of notification and I was able to make suitable arrangements for somebody to be at home for the new date. The bed itself was well packaged and arrived in good condition. This is the first ottoman bed I have bought and I am very pleased with it. It is extremely comfortable to sleep on and the storage space easily takes all the sleeping bags, camping lilos and blankets etc. All in all a good purchase.”
