“Purchased a bbq and accessories to the value of just over ยฃ1000 and booked delivery approximately 1 week after the order as I could take the day off work to accept the delivery and build the bbq. The delivery company gave me a time slot of between 12:30 and 14:30. At 16:30 i rang BBQWorld to ask them to chase it as it hadn't arrived and they rang back saying that it would be with me within the hour. It never came and I felt that I had been fobbed off to a time after they had closed so that I couldn't ring up to complain. I duly cancelled the order. Sadly I need to now take 40kg of accessories (that arrived seperately) to the post office to return. They have also stated that they will refund me when they receive the items back. Four days after cancelling the order the delivery company rang asking me if I could re-book the delivery. I again wrote to BBQ world and they stated that the delivery company must have been confused and thought they were ringing to confirm the delivery back to store (which they clearly weren't). I currently don't have the BBQ, have never had the BBQ and am still awaiting a refund which I have been given no indication as to when I will receive it.”
