“Price was good , customers service and delivery extremely poor, contacted them immediately after a postcode was entered incorrectly, they ignored emails, I rang them passed details to staff who stated they would update courier . This wasn’t done as recovery failed on the day and the excuse was it was due to postcode being changed . No contact made and someone stayed in all day .
Was delivered the following day . Poor experience.”
“The BBQ I received had clearly been opened and possibly had some attempted assembly. This was evident from the opened and taped closed fixture pack, scratches around some screw locations and minor damage to the main housing. All in all not enough to request a return, but disappointing.”
“I ordered both the Webber anywhere and cover, but only after I paid was I told the cover was on back order and I'll have to wait. Two weeks on still no cover not any indication on when I'll get it.
I would have bought elsewhere had I known this.”
“Issue with missing axle for Weber Performer barbecue. Involved a number of phone calls and emails and then Weber sent to the wrong address. Resulted in much stress and disappointment.”
“When the item arrived, it didn't work. I looked at their returns policy and it said that if I wanted to return it, I would have to pay return postage. I'd already paid nearly £3 to get it delivered in the first place so for an item that's £7.99, it didn't seem worth it. The score is for their returns policy. If an item just doesn't work, why should I have to pay for transport both ways?”
“The first thing that comes to mind is the design of the website seamlessly linking up to a scam advertisement which signed me up to a 4 day trial and £40 a week subscription for some crappy games and other forgettable unused nonsense. I thought I was creating an account with bbq world. I hope they read this and take action.
My bbq if fine, arrived in good time. I need to use it more for a full assessment but so far I'm very impressed with it.”
“Customer service abysmal. I bought a portable bbq on line and the website page presented some options for the regulator connector. I ordered the only one that looked to suit (on other pages were further options) but it was the wrong one. Firstly I would have thought that the experts would have advised me at despatch but no - I emailed customer service to explain and they said I had bought the wrong one and it was “unfortunate” - I emailed again for help in sorting an exchange but have not had a reply.”
“Order came in 2 parts
1st part got within 5 drops of my home before heading back to hub with my order after arranging time of yet the app said driver running a little behind and WILL be with you shortly no true. I had to the arrange to take delivery .
2nd part lost and had to be replaced”
“Ordering was easy however wrong things came to what I ordered and returning is not easy
Be sure you order exactly what you want as if like me you will not even bother returning as you post it and no refund process at all apart from a refund if and when they receive it”

Bought a weber summit kamado from them
Bought a weber summit kamado from them. It arrived damaged, so they offered a replacement which also arrived damaged. I called back to have it replaced but now they're all out of stock so they offered to get the damaged parts sent over by Weber. I agreed and I sent images and the serial number which was all fine but when I called up to check, the guy on the phone came across rude and in a rush to get rid of me. Did not want to look into the case and just said he can't tell me anything now and will get back. Been 2 weeks and I paid nearly 1 grand for a bbq which isn't in a condition I would deem as acceptable, neither did I expect to be treated that way. If it was his money, I'm sure he too would have been fustrated. I've been very patience and nice about it despite being taken for a ride now but I'm losing patience.
I will update this when and IF it is resolved.”
“horrified that they sent 11 instructions manual each 10 pgs long in 11 languages. what a waste of paper. I calculated they are wasting 60000 trees worth of paper per Yr, WHAT AN ENVIRONMENTAL WASTE. WEBER U CAN DO BETTER. THIS IN UNACCEPTABLE. BBQ WORLD PLEASE TALK TO YOUR SUPPLIER!!”
“the Weber bbq is fine, but the delivery experience was poor. Legs were damaged on first delivery. To be fair to BBQWorld, they were responsive and sent out another set. Unfortunately, one leg was more damaged than the first one, so have ended up using the leg from the first delivery :(”
