The TPC - the Pallet Company ETA system doesn't work. All the delivery staff know it. I waited in from the initial ETA of 8.30 to 9.30 until the actual delivery just after 12pm. If you want an accurate delivery time you have to phone the TPC office, who track where the driver is. The ETA on the system updates to the next hour whenever you log on: don't believe it as it's likely to be wrong.”
“I bought a Weber Spirit EP-325 gas barbecue online from BBQ World and 2 separate orders for a Weber cover and related Weber tools and cleaning items. My experience was mostly very good - prompt dispatch and suitable packaging. My only concern is that 3 of website descriptions of items purchased had errors - most significant was website description that both side tables on the EP-325 barbecue can be folded down, but in fact only the LH table folds down. Only discovered that after assembling the barbecue after receipt. The non-folding table means more storage space needed for the barbecue, which is inconvenient but decided to live with it - otherwise it is an excellent barbecue for our needs. BBQ World apologised, but merely said they were using Weber’s description - feel BBQ World could have been more proactive to ensure I was satisfied.”

“We purchased this Cadac barbecue cover as a replacement for the previous cover which had worn out after two years use. It was attractively priced at 50% off (£20) and looks good. It was delivered quickly. Shower as this is the 3r cover we have had in 5 years we are not sure how long this one will last. The sunlight seems to shorten the life of the product even though it claims to be UV stable. Time will tell.”
“I bought a CADAC Citi Chef 40 FS and a butane fitting from BBQ World (Dawsons Department Store) online & it was delivered the very next day. The price was also very good too! However I would have given 5 stars only a woman I spoke to on the phone at BBQ World, while I was trying to get help in selecting the correct gas fitting, was very short with me, tried to direct me back to the website, and was not especially pleasant even after I explained that am autistic and needed help please. She did identify the correct fitting in the end.
The I made a second purchase from this store to obtain a different hot plate (half grill / griddle), some silicone BBQ utensils (it's a ceramic hotplate and is damaged by metal tools) a big silicone tub for soaking the hotplate and a stiff brush. All CADAC. Again the prices were great & I received my order the next day. It's worth noting that the FREE BBQ utensils that were included in the BBQ's purchase, although of good quality, we're useless to me because they were made with metal heads; seeing following comments for clarification.
All packaged items were well protected. For the environment's sake, Dawsons could use less plastic in their packaging.
FYI the CADAC instructions left a lot to be desired (there were stages missing and parts not even mentioned at all) and were out of date (included mentions of products they no longer make) too. There was also no mention of washing and tempering the hot plate before first use?
