“I love your furniture and your stores ! But, I don’t love your £79 delivery charge. Other local companies offer me free delivery if I live locally - why not You?”

“Great sales support in placing the order. A huge wait for delivery driven by the manufacturer. Delivery was at the agreed time and by courteous people. An issue with wrong cushion covers was resolved quickly and the fabric fault was adressed quite quickly but a longer wait again by the manufacturer and we are finally all good now. I hope we dont have to test if the replacement cover was 'treaded' with replacement like the rest of the sofa was. Over all very pleased with B & S”

“Sofa & 2 chairs are fabulous. Transformed my lounge. Great quality. However, we waited 12 weeks when we were told 5 weeks in the store. We had to sit on deck chairs for 7 weeks which wasn’t good!!”

“Would have gave 5 star's if contractor had built our wardrobe's correctly didn't have the wardrobe long till it broke and had to wait another 4months till the new part's arrived in the mean time could not use wardrobe properly”

“After receiving a damaged piece of furniture we have at last received our replacements the guys who came to collect the old ones and set up the new ones were very courteous , customer service kept us informed of where we were at”

“We purchased a corner sofa from Barker and Stonehouse, took a while to be delivered. The sofa appears to live up to expectations strong but yet comfortable. The second sets of delivery people were helpful. Would recommend this company”

“First delivery was half the order as the courier lost the other chair & stool. Delay due to attempting to locate the initial items but then new items dispatched and order completed after a number of weeks. Customer service representatives communicated well throughout the process and understood my minor frustration. Would buy from again, things went awry but they responded relatively well to ensure timely re delivery”

“I've had two experiences of B&S recently - the first with regard to a new sofa I was considering buying, the second re a lamp table I bought. I found them very helpful on both occasions - nice, efficient sales staff and accounts staff. Their stock is large, plenty to choose from and I came way thinking there were several pieces I could have chosen. They also had a jolly good sale in operation when I bought the table, and they further reduced the price when I found a little dent in the wood after unpacking it - good, fair-minded approach - my kind of store!”

“Was eventually told item was ready for pick up after waiting 4 or 5 weeks. So we could have had the bed much quicker but there must have been a breakdown in communication. Received bed frame but there was 2 damaged areas. The box was not damaged so it has been put in the box damaged. Barker and Stonehouse after sales customer services were excellent. Quick reply and I stated how much I wanted off the frame unless it was being sent back. They agreed to the partial money back and was in account a day or so later. Happy enough with bed frame and after sales customer service. Warehouse may need to check details for pick ups.”
