“On ordering my item the level of customer was excellent -all answers provided quickly and efficiently. When I picked my item up from the Eggborough warehouse, the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. I am delighted with my drinks cabinet, it looks even better than described. I will certainly be going back to Barker and Stonehouse in the future.”

“The furniture is stunning, amazing quality and easy to purchase. The delivery was managed well though it would have been easier if it came without the cardboard and assembled, but we managed:)”

“Ordered a distressed table lamp. It arrived before the estimated delivery. Unfortunately it was fitted with a two pin plug and the distressed finish was rather more distressed than appeared on the image with bits flaking off. Customer services were extremely helpful (hence 4stars) and it was collected the next day. The first time I have been disappointed with Barker and Stonehouse but was quickly remedied.”

“Love the style of chairs but the wooden arms were a little on the rough side. Delivery guys were great, quick, tidy and efficient, wore masks and distanced.”

“I have always been extremely happy with everything I have purchase from Barker & Stonehouse . The customer service is excellent ,however , their products do take awhile to arrive and my most recent purchase has been delayed so is taking even longer to arrive.”

“Easy online ordering. Good price. Only downside was that all items ordered were not delivered on the same day. Kept us updated on delivery, good communications. Courteous delivery personnel.”

“The Battersea store is a real haven, full of beautiful furniture and accessories...I can't wait for its cafe to reopen too. Bought a mirror from here lately, looks gorgeous, our only criticism is that there were no instructions or fixings included for hanging it, and it was not straight forward to do so at all. The integrated loops for hanging it were not symmetrical and it took several hours and drilled holes to get it right.”

“Ordered some lovely new dining chairs and received a message to contact the team to arrange a delivery. There was an automated message that informed me calls were busy and I might be in for a wait. I was pleasantly surprised to have my call answered within a few minutes and they even apologised for the wait! The call handler was very pleasant and scheduled in my delivery, informing me of social distancing measures that were in place so I knew what to expect. Everything went exactly as expected, I got a message to say when my delivery window would be and call when they were in the way. The delivery team were professional and friendly and the items arrived in perfect condition. My only small niggle would be that once the delivery was scheduled an additional item appeared on the delivery confirmation and I had no idea what it was or whether I would be charged for it. This additional item did not appear with my delivery so I assume it was some sort of error but did lead to a lot of confusion.”

“Easy to use website, good products just a shame our goods will now not arrive before Christmas. Order has now been delayed till end of January which is disappointing but not really there fault.”

“We really like our Edgar leather chair: they look well-made and beautiful. Ideally they?d have a little more padding, especially in the back: we do need a cushion to make it comfortable. However, we are glad that we bought them, and that sustainable wood was used.”
