“I ordered my vase in May, very straightforward, and it was delivered about 2 weeks later. I had designated it to be left inside my porch and was slightly disappointed that it was left outside and so not in a very safe place. The vase was as expected but was in an enormous box which I felt was much larger than it needed to be.”

“I have always been extremely happy with everything I have purchase from Barker & Stonehouse . The customer service is excellent ,however , their products do take awhile to arrive and my most recent purchase has been delayed so is taking even longer to arrive.”

“The quality of the furniture is excellent. The packaging, service and delivery were top notch. I ordered a triple wardrobe, chest of drawers and a bedside table. The triple wardrobe required assembly. It arrived in 3 separate boxes. There was no indication in which box the instructions were and when I found them...they were crammed onto one page and not very clear. The chest of drawers and bed side table were already assembled and in perfect condition.”

“The product ( dining chairs ) is of excellent quality and the chairs were delivered carefully wrapped to avoid damage. B & S staff were courteous and helpful . 5 stars if delivery had been made on the stated day !”

“We ordered an outdoor lounging set and one of the cushions for the chair was missing on delivery. The delivery team was quick to notice and took a picture for us so we could inform head office. Although I wish they had done it quicker, ( took a little over a week) they have since replaced the whole set and it looks great. Great service from the delivery guys, both times helped us set up and layout the couches and were very friendly. I?d give the delivery team 5 stars , but head office 4 stars just because of the time it took to resolve considering we we?re hosting and needed it urgently. But everyone was very friendly in helping us resolve.”

“We have bought lots of lovely things which we are still very happy with. However the delivery times have been varied and mainly long. This is disappointing especially when it say 'In Stock'. Getting things in the clearance sale is good. We have even come away with a beautiful leather arm chair in the back of our mini convertible! Too good a price to leave!”

“Delivery excellent product as expected, well wrapped and protected. Only downside there was no receipt for monies paid, which is the reason for four stars instead of five. Other than that, no complaints, first class service.”

“Beautiful product that looks stunning. My only issue is that the dimensions given are not accurate. It?s stated that it had a width and depth of 26cm when it?s 20cn deep and 22cm wide. It doesn?t spoil and otherwise beautiful product that we're very happy with but I think product information needs to be accurate when buying unseen online.”

“Great service. I had visited the hove branch and saw some art that I really liked. A member of staff advised me I would have to order online as they don't stock the items. I found navigating the website quite tricky, in the sense that I had to be very specific with wording to find the item I wanted. For this reason I had ended up with an item delivered that wasn't the one I had seen in the store. Quite similar, but not the same. I went back to the store and explained what had happened, the lady (Charlie) made the return process so easy, in fact she pretty much did it all for me. I was then with her help able to find the right item online and it was delivered within a few days. Overall very happy with my Barker and Stonehouse experience. Special thanks to Charlie!”

“Not taken delivery of the goods yet so will reserve final judgement - but to date I have been kept very well up to speed in respect of expected delays, deliveries etc. Staff are polite and helpful.”

“When the shop floor staff mistakenly advised us delivery would be within 10 days for 2 single beds, the back office customer service team went out of their way (one lady in particular, unfortunately I didnt take her name) to ensure we received our order ASAP and not the 2 months we were informed when we placed the order on line. Thank you so much, the beds are here and out daughter is thrilled with her new room.”
