Extremely disappointing and not worth the money. Luxury Bouquet purchased for £75 for Mothers' Day. 1 rose stem was already broken on arrival, 1 day later, 2 of the remaining roses were drooping and past their best, all stems on the cala lilies were rotting and 4 " had to be cut of in an attempt to save them. By the following day the remainder of the lily stems has turned slimy and rotted further right up the stem and all had to be discarded by day 4. The roses fared ittle better, by day 3, a furher 3 were goners and by day 5 all were in the bin. This left the some spray flowers, a touch of greenery and the orchids (which did do well) but as they arrived with the stems already cut off with snap off plastic stems, they could noit be displayed in a vase with what remained of the bouquet. (Note, the flowers were cared for per instructions and were displayed in claen water, in temperate conditions, not close to any direct heat sources). I have written 2 emails of complaint to the contact email address on the website and 11 days later have received responses to neither. I have also tried calling Customer Service to discuss and although I got through (although first time the number on the website was no longer in use!) I was left on hold for over half an hour on the first occasion and 16 minutes on the second occasion as I waited to be put through to a customer service representative. This never happened and I had to hang up as I was at work. This is the first time I have purchased flowers from Appleyard and did so based on testamonials and their exposure in the glossy magazines. They have failed to impress all round. I will not be purchasing again from Appleyard nor will I be recommending to anyone else.

The service and delivery was very good as it was delivered at a decent time on Mothers Day however the orchid flowers and all the buds have fallen off before they even bloomed and the leaves have turned yellow just after a week. It wasn't over watered and kept in just enough sunlight so its disappointing that its looks so bad after such a short time especially as it was a gift for my Mum.

Extremely disappointed. I ordered flowers to be delivered on Friday 2nd March - they turned up late on the 3rd with no apology or notice. This would have been ok had the flowers not all died within 12 hours. On the Sunday they were already looking wilted and dead. I sent an email to your customer service, with a photo and didn't even get a reply except your standard email reply that you had received my email. They flowers were £55 with postage and truly awful. Would never recommend or use you again. Had you replied to my email and given some customer service I may have felt differently.

The flowers I ordered for Mothers day were horrible and looked nothing like the picture online. They were half dead and brown and not enough of the flowers promised. I emailed the company the same day after my mum sent me pictures of the flowers, I included these pictures in the email. I then heard nothing for over a week, so I phone the number to complain and ask for a full refund, I was on hold for over 20minutes!!!! I hung up and emailed again. I then got an automated email back a few days later saying I would get a refund. I am totally disgusted with the way this company treated my genuine complaint.

Offered Sunday delivery but turned out this didn't include even the Central Belt of Scotland. Flowers OK, not great value for money. Card pitiful - flimsy with tear-off perforations. Will not be using again.

I ordered two large bouquets for mothers day. I was very disappointed both in the size of the bouquets and the quality. The bouquets did not resemble the images on the site. £100 spent in total and I could gave bought better from a supermarket for a fraction of the cost. I will not be purchasing from Appleyard again.

The flowers arrived a day late & were brown & shrivelled up. I was promised a replacement bouquet & a refund both of which I'm still waiting for!

I saw the ad. In the Telegraph and bought a fifty pound bouquet to be sent to my elderly mother on Valentine's Day.The bouquet was delivered and I imagined my mother being really happy and surprised with this gift . I then discovered that Appleyard Flowers used a Call Centre in Bulgaria and that my phone call order had cost me a further Ten Pounds ! I spoke to a Appleyard and suggested they change their Call centre to a British one.I was effectively told to .... Off ! My mother told me the flowers were tired when delivered and only lasted three days.

Appleyard never again! The orchid I ordered had shed all of its flowers. I can't begin to explain how disappointed I was as this was my way of cheering up my friend who has had to move away and leave her friends behind. Also having to tell my niece who recommended Appleyard of my disappointment. I know that left her feeling dreadful. Customer service via the web site is non existent and I had to make a second attempt via Facebook.

Not only did the flowers wilt and die within 12 hours of receipt. Both complaints I made were ignored. £60 well wasted. Would not recommend or use again...

The flowers I received were 60% already dead. I sent an email which never got responded to. I then tweeted the appleyard account and 6 days after first submitting my complaint I received a response!

I bought this bouquet and had to get it redelivered as my mother wouldnt be in. I contacted Appleyard with 72 hours notice before the delivery to ask to change it and because they responded so slowly to me their cut off time had expired and they said they wouldnt do anything about it. The customer services rep then said that was that and was incredibly unhelpful.

The flowers were ordered well in advance for delivery for Mothers Day - they didn't turn up on the Saturday and the customer service line was closed (despite advertising itself as open). The flowers turned up on the Monday having been sent out on the Thursday evening so having spent the weekend in a warehouse they were in very poor condition and only lasted a couple of days. I have written to Appleyard twice and they have not acknowledged or responded to me - I am very disappointed with this company and would not recommend them to anyone.

The flowers I ordered started dying within 24 hours. After 48 hours we had to throw them away. I contacted Appleyard with my complaint and after 2 weeks, I've still had no response. Awful flowers. Terrible service. This was my first time using Appleyard and I never will again. I'll stick to Interflora, as at least I know they have good quality flowers.

You can't be serious. I have just received a 'please review us' email after requesting a full refund a week ago. If you focused on the emails coming in rather than sending automated review requests out you might receive better customer feedback. I ordered a bouquet from Appleyard which was delivered a full two days after the expected delivery date. I was offered an upgraded bouquet or a full refund. I decided to give Appleyard another chance so requested the upgraded bouquet. Since I hadn't had any response for this request I have since requested a full refund instead. (almost a full week ago). Dreadful customer service. Avoid.

Delivery of flowers was left in a hedge and found the following day! After a complaint a replacement bunch was sent (and a refund) however the flowers were of a poor quality and the bunch small in comparison to other florists. Won't be using again.

Ordered solid bouquet of tulips for my girlfried on 8 of march. 2 days prior to delivery date ,so on 6th of march.Flowers were delivered on 9th of march,so one day later than they should have. Flowers are occasional thing so they should be delivered on time always. Was very disapointed with service.

We ordered the Madeleine bouquet for Mothers' Day. It arrived on time but we were very disappointed with the quality of the flowers. The small filling flowers and 2 roses were dead the following day and the rest of the roses were dead within 4 days. The lilies still hadn't started to open a week later by which time the rest of the bouquet was dead. All flower care instructions were followed. I'm afraid we will not be buying another bouquet from you.
