Beautiful flowers, efficient delivery, but majority of lilies died without opening and every rose bar one died within five days (not the seven that was guaranteed) without ever fully opening out. I emailed requesting a replacement, no response yet.

I have used Appleyard 3 times and twice they have come up trumps - flowers arrived on the right day and were lovely (according to the recipients). I was pleased as its hard to find a good supplier of contemporary arrangements. When I used Appleyard on Mothers Day this year, the delivery arrived on the wrong day and the plant was dry and yellow when it arrived. I put in a complaint which has gone unanswered for nearly 10 days despite chasing. On a track record of 2/3 I might use them again as they do have lovely flowers and they did score well twice. Depends on how they respond to my recent complaint (if in fact they bother to).

Ordered the Grace bouquet for Mother's Day which arrived on time and looked just like the picture. However after just a couple of days the lilies started to wilt and they all died quickly so the bouquet did not last as long as hoped. The flowers arrived by post and I wonder if lack of water in transit caused the flowers to wilt and die prematurely.

The flowers arrived a day early which was ok... The card that came with it had half my words missing...The flowers that I had ordered, arrived looking very sorry for themselves, but once in water and following the instruction they did last and looked ok...

Wasn't amazed as I thought I would be . Only ordered them because of the good reviews. I order a large bunch because it looked more full but they didn't look large at all. Don't think I'd order from here again.

For a delivery of flowers that were obviously a birthday gift, stuffing in a bunch of discount vouchers and advertising flyers in them just made the gift look cheap and tacky, flowers were also delivered a day early!

Have only rated Normal. Actually I tried last night to place an order & failed several times. Ok right through to add to basket & then it froze. This morning tried again intending to phone if still the same problem. Today your site worked perfectly & I would have rated my experience Very Good based on that. Hope this is helpful.

Lovely bunch of flowers HOWEVER was extremely disappointed with your delivery service! They did not even call or text to say that there was no one at home for the delivery and just left the bouquet in front of the door with no notes or anything! Anyone could've just taken it . Very disappointed about that !

For the money spent I'm afraid the bunch of flowers were pretty understated. The flowers came beautifully present in a rather large box but once I saw the flowers in the vase they didn't look like the full, lush bunch I had expected given I paid for the larger bunch.

Hi Kate, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We are incredibly sorry to learn of your disappointment with your Appleyard Bouquet. All our flowers are shipped in bud to maintain longevity and freshness in transit, which may give the appearance of a smaller bouquet. Once all buds are in full bloom, you should see the true size of the bouquet. We wish to sincerely apologise for not providing the service expected and for any inconvenience experienced as a result of this. Kind regards, Appleyard London Team

My mother in law sent me a photo of the flowers when they were received and I was a little disappointed as they were not that similar to the photo of them online. It may be the flowers online were for the larger size? Either way, they were very gratefully received.

For the full price they were advertised at I would have been disappointed, some of the roses had seen better days and the bouquet didn't look as good as the photo used to sell them. Plus point, the Delivery was on time and on a Sunday.

Our bouquet looked beautiful when we opened the box, and had travelled well. However, we were disappointed that some of the flowers, particularly the roses, really didn't last more than a couple of days before drooping, and several of the lily flowers failed to open though I had treated them properly, exactly as I would any cut flowers. Six days max before we had to throw them out - not long enough, in my opinion. I was glad I had a special offer, and hadn't paid the full price.

I ordered about 8 days or so in advance. The day after I ordered I sent an email (via the online service) to Appleyard asking if I could update the note that was going to be sent with the flowers. I got no response nor did I get the updated note. Not really a good service in my opinion. I would have appreciated a message saying they couldn't do it rather than no response. As for the flowers they were a very small bunch in my opinion. I think Appleyard should state how many of each type of flower you're likely to get. Their current system I believe is too misleading.

I was happy with the flowers received. They were of a high quality and lasted. My only issue with this order was the vase that I ordered with it. It appears on the website as a high quality looking ceramic jug. However I was disappointed to find that its just a metal jug that has been painted to look ceramic. It was chipped on arrival and considering the extra price to have it included I don't feel like it was value for money. Feels like you're paying more for the convenience than the vase. It was a shame considering the quality of the flowers.

Generally good quality flowers, although the roses did not last a week as stated. They were not sent in bud, but fairly open. Bought on a deal- I would have been very disappointed if I had paid full price given the number of stems. Very nicely packaged

Very nice flowers lasted a while however for the amount charged maybe not the best value for money. If you can spare the cash you really need to get the larger flowers

The flowers were nothing special...I had expected the WOW factor, but in honesty could have ordered the same if not better arrangement from many other Florists for the same cost. Would I use Appleyard again? Probably not.

The flowers were amazing. The only problem was that I ordered 2 bouquets to be ordered to 2 different addresses. They were both delivered to one address which spoilt the gesture somewhat. I had to collect one bouquet and deliver it to the other address. Not sure where the error arose - blip on website perhaps? Also the timed delivery option which I paid extra for is not clear. I assumed that the website would give me a time to choose. It did not.

The choice and the prices are great but I was a little disappointed when the recipient sent me a pic of the flowers they looked like nothing I had ordered. I know the pics on your site are prepped etc but I was hoping the bouquet was going to be as large and full as the picture. I have used Appleyard before and I will continue to but my expectations have reduced somewhat Service is very good though so I can't fault that.
