“What a shame the flowers were left upside down in their packaging. When they were found the water had all drained out. Disappointing.”

“Usually really happy with the flowers from Appleyard, these ones were not the greatest. As mentioned, the lillies arrived as closed buds but unfortunately by the time they opened (longer than usual), all the other flowers had died :(”

“The flowers I ordered for Mother's Day were absolutely beautiful. The only issue is that they were delivered a day late. I am still waiting to hear from the customer service department regarding their promise to deliver on time.”

“Although the flowers were beautiful I was disappointed with the end product and when you're sending flowers as a leaving gift or any gist for that matter they are not the type of product that you can send back when you're not satisfied....the moment has passed. Something my son said when he was younger to my mind. He asked me when we were in MacDonald's one day why his "Big Mac" didn't look the picture.....explaining that it is just a marketing technique for consumer to buy wasn't something that I know how to explain to a 5 year old. I used Appleyard for some funeral flowers recently; I wasn't able to go to the funeral I just hope now that the flowers delivered represented my feelings for loss of a special person.”

“Don't be fooled by the picture of the arrangement in the add. That's not the one you get at the advertised price. The picture is for the "Extra Special" arrangement, the price shown is for the "Standard" arrangement. A BAD way to do business. I had left it too late, and so used this service. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I take umbridge at being lied too. POOR SHOW, con-men.”

“The bouquet was nice but the roses were quite brown- not just the outer petals and half had to be cut away and they didn't last very long (the other flowers were better). The delivery tracking system was great and the updates were very accurate”

“I wrote 2 emails through your contact us page and as yet have had no reply...other than a "give us feedback" automated email. My mother's day flowers arrived sub standard. Please can someone contact me regarding this. Thank you”

“Initial reaction from my Mum on receipt of her gorgeous Mother's Day flowers was they're gorgeous...however this didn't last long as some wilted quickly (within hours even though she followed all the instructions) and others didn't open.”

“I used Appleyard flowers to send my mother flowers for Mothers Day. After looking at the website I chose an extra large bouquet with Sunday delivery. The flowers were delivered on time and however they were not very fresh and within a few days were dead. I contacted Appleyard, who with no hesiation sent a beautiful and fresh bouquet by next day delivery to my Mother.”

“Stunning looking bouquet but the roses deteriorated quickly and well before the lilies flowered. Shame as the combination would have been perfect if the roses had just lasted beyond 2 days. Packaging and tieing all done to a very high standard. Presentation immaculate.”

“Having read the reviews I was sceptical about ordering any flowers but thought I would give Appleyard a go as their bouquets looked lovely. Sadly along with many others I was disappointed. I ordered an extra large bouquet and it looked no bigger than the regular. The pictures on the website are very deceiving. the flowers were expensive and I don't think you get what you pay for.”

“I order 2 bunches of flowers, and somehow managed to get one delivered on the wrong date and the other to the wrong address! No doubt this is partly down to human error but it was annoying nonetheless. I thought the flowers fairly average for the price - for a £50 bunch of flowers I was expecting something bigger, but they were good quality and a nice arrangement.”

“These flowers were ordered using a discount code from Hello Fresh and it was clear on delivery that the amount of flowers in the bouquet had also been discounted compared to the website pictures, they were of a very good quality but it was a shame that this was the case as you aren't really getting any kind of deal. Sheds a poor light on the company and for that reason wouldn't use again or recommend.”

“Was delivered when it said it would be although even when the flowers opened they didn't look like the bouquet in the picture and I had paid extra £10 to get the "extra large" bouquet. Glad I didn't get the standard size or it would've been disappointing for the money you pay. The flowers were nice and my mum liked them but I feel they could've been better. Would use appleyard flowers again as could've have been a one off and their bouquets do look lovely online.”

“Flowers arrived as arranged and looked beautiful, my wife was very happy. They only lasted till the next day though when petals started falling off and flowers generally started to die. Aldi flowers last a lit longer for a fraction of the cost.”
