First time using Appleyard having used lots of other online next day florists before. Online imagery misrepresented the size and quality of the stems. Did not receive fresh flowers but rather ones already browning from age or storage, frankly supermarkets offer better. This was a particularly special occasion and didn’t feel I could gift these. Would not purchase again from Appleyard as Gabbie who replied from their customer services rather than making it right essentially said give it a few days and sorry we don’t do returns. In a few days they’ll be even more wilted! If they refuse a refund I’ll definitely contact my card issuer.

Paid £8.99 for guaranteed Mother’s Day delivery, which now says it will be delivered on Tuesday the 21st. Not the first time Appleyard have delivered late for me when requesting a specific date. Not offering a refund despite not getting what was ordered. Avoid at all costs

Ref order 500691343 . NOT DELIVERED. I don’t even want to give one star. Absolutely appalled. First we were told delivery would be by 9pm on Saturday. Incredibly late for starters. Then a message to say delivered 8pm. . It was NOT delivered to my mother and not even the correct address . An appalling text exchange with yodel at 9pm which I will share with Appleyard customer service. These were Mother’s Day flowers planned well in advance. Ordered via the BA.com shop so I will also be sending full details to them about the terrible service annd recommending they remove Appleyard from there shop. I will never order from apple yard again.

Ordered roses for valentines day, even paid the extra for morning delivery but didn't arrive. Spent an hour on hold trying to get through to someone on there Web chat finally did and they offered me a refund of the postage which I declined and asked for a full refund which were happy to do. Unfortunately ruined the day for my wife but I'm still alive so we move on

I used to have excellent service from Appleyard London, but this year things changed, my flowers were not delivered on Valentine’s day nor on the next day, and the best the could do was say sorry and give me credit in my Appleyard account ! Instead of actually refunding the money to my card ! Their quality of customer service has declined significantly in the past year !!

Bought 100 x red roses for about £180-190. Received them by Yodel all smashed up inside the box. About 15 roses - were good quality almost as in photo of their webpage, all others - petals dried out, some even black, some white. Most don't even seem bloomed, but they rooting away already. Tesco sells 15 x roses for £15 that look fresh, are bloomed, twice the size and has scent (could not smell a thing from appleyard) and they last over a week. £150 would get you 50 more roses for £30 less and bouquet size would be at least 4 times bigger. Left ones from appleyard in the room to see how long will they last before they completely day - as it's embarrassment to gift it to someone anyway. However, apparently for appleyard this is up to their quality standards. Please see photo link attached below - includes, photo of delivered flowers, photo from their website and email from them confirming that they see no issues with it. Decide for yourself - if this looks QUALITY to you, before buying.

I’ve had a bad experience trying to order a plant online. I gave up in the end after 5 hours of WhatsApp exchanges with the seller because the website experience was so poor. A catalogue of problems and no phone service available.

The flowers arrived on 23rd December looking beautiful but one of the roses had already lost a couple of petals as they were loose in the bouquet, now after 4 days it is brown and dead, most of the other roses have brown petals and and 2 are drooping. The lilies and gold foliage are fine. I often receive flowers through the post from other’s companies and have never had roses of such poor quality before.

The worst £40 ever spent! Half of the flowers were dead and the bouquet was the measliest thing I have ever seen! It was for a birthday and it was absolutely embarrassing. I will never order anything from them again.

Arrived late, customer service offered further insult by offering to wave the delivery charge. As a flower company delivering on time is a basic requirement. I spent over £200 for delivery not to be guaranteed. Would not recommend and will not be using this company again.

Dear Marek, We're so sorry to learn of the experience that you have had, and that your flowers didn't arrive. We understand how disappointing this is, and that we have let you down. We can see that you have been in touch with us via livechat and have had your order refunded in full, but appreciate that this doesn't make up for a missed occasion. Apologies once again, Appleyard London.

Terrible service, unreliable delivery. Do no trust this company to fulfil your order. I had made an order days in advance and paid for delivery on a specific date for my fiancee's birthday. The company did not deliver my order and did not notify me of this. When I contacted customer service to ask why my order had not been delivered the representative nonchalantly told me it had not been given to the courier and if I wanted it delivered on a different date. No explanation and no attempt to fulfil my order on time. Appleyard just does not care about delivering on time or about customer satisfaction.

Hi Michael, Further to our conversations, we're happy this was delivered on time and the advice you were given turned out to be incorrect. Sorry for any concern caused - this isn't the experience we aim to give. Thanks Appleyard

The flowers delivered were nothing like the catalog photo. Immensely disappointing. Paid £32 for flowers worth £6 at a garage forecourt. Complained to shop we ordered from. Received £15 refund. The flowers were for your daughter in law who got a well earned promotion at work. It was very disappointing to say the least. Very poor service. Photos show the difference

Flowers were ordered for Christmas 2017, and I’ve just been asked to review (July 2022)!! A shame because I was disappointed at the time - having ordered from the picture for full bloom, the flowers were received in bud. No warning was given about that and, had it been, I would have thought twice about buying. I’ve not used Appleyard since so am surprised to receive the review request. More surprised that I had to say “yes” to the question “are you happy with…” in order to leave a review. Saying “no” took me to a happiness guarantee.
