The worst service. Moving home is a stressful situations and they made it more stressful. The agreed time for picking up was 10am and the driver turned up at 8am bearing in mind they charge if you delay the time. Upon arrival the driver complained throughout moving the items and asked me husband to do some work. The worst things is he took a picture of our cooker without our permission. why ?. Once the items were uploaded to the van he requested extra £38 for the work and we told him we already paid the company £48. Once we got to the new flat the driver refused to offload until we pay the money and they we contacted any van which didnt help becuase they said the driver is self employed. We agreed to pay £20 extra and whilst i was making the payment via any van the driver was off loading. He asked whether we paid and as soon As he got a confirmation he DROVE OFF. He didnt take the stuff inside the building, let left and DROVE off. Ive complained to anyvan who said they will verify what happened. That was 2 wks ago and today they said that i wont even get £20 back. They were rude and they lie to get the money and leave you hanging. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM ANY VAN IF YOU WANT A DECENT SERVIC

This has to be the worse service ive ever used. Collected my item and promptly delivered it broken. The sub-contractor has constantly lied about getting it repaired and Any vans customer service has been as helpful as a chocolate teapot. Been waiting over two weeks and still no decent level of service and my item is still broken.

Used twice and had a terrible experience both times. The worst incident was the theft of an expensive bottle of whiskey and a number of boxes had been opened so still to discover if anything else has been taken. The moving experience was difficult, the first move I had listed out the majority of items but when the men turned up they checked all items against the list I provided and demanded we pay extra for a few small bags not accounted for and despite me doing half the work. Hoping this was a one off we decided to try anyvan a second time as the price was the cheapest, given our past experience i was very thorough with the list of items, on the move day we actually had less, but they still attempted to get more money by claiming we had more than we had stated. Unfortunately as the items were n storage I am unable to say for certain which of the two separate removal teams stole from us but needless to say I will not be using this site again.

The experiences I've had using the movers who list services on the platform was great as they were careful and reliable. The issue is with Anyvan itself - when a cancellation was agreed between the relevant movers and myself and the company was happy to not deduct anything from the deposit, Anyvan refused to return it but said that they would only give me credit for a future job. They continue to make me jump through hoops and have still not agreed to return the deposit paid for the job (which did not take place), even though their terms and conditions say that they hold the deposit as an agent. Anyvan admitted at the start of my correspondence with them that I am due a refund but have now said (after almost a month of email exchanges) that "Unfortunately in the event of a customer cancellation, we would issue a credit to your Anyvan account to use in the future". They hadn't said this in their previous emails and it isn't in their terms and conditions either. It's now been about a month of email exchanges (their team is slow to respond to emails), and it is so clear that they simply want to hold on to the deposit paid for any reason. It seems like I may have to go to court to get my deposit back.

Terrible, anyvan sub-contract there work out to anyman with a van, they caused £1500 damage to my motorbike, and because my driver was a sub-contractor, anyvan take no responsibility...avoid there people

Booked and paid for a collection/delivery. Assigned courier who failed to contact me or return any calls. Seller assumed I was trying to 'pull a scam' (why wouldn't he) ruining my personal integrity. Tried phoning AnyVan helpline which after 35 minutes on hold never answered. Emailed helpline which sent a response recommending ringing the helpline that they refused to answer and promising a follow up which never happened. I have now probably lost the items I wanted to have collected. COMPLETE COWBOYS TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS!

STRONGLY DON'T RECOMMENDED! We booked a transport for a car from UK to Italy two weeks in advance and gave them availability for one week to arrange the transport. After the day of the booking (and the whole payment) we never heard from them, except when WE contacted them to know if everything was ok. They always told us they were just finalising details. One day before the last day available for the collection (day we had to move from the address we gave them) we called them again and they said they couldn't make it. Never even had the courtesy to tell us first. That caused us a great trouble, and in the end we had to drive the car ourselves to Italy without even having the time to organise the trip because we knew about that last minute. I will never use them again!

totally disgusted in anyvan and its staff, especially the online chatbots , all they offer is excuses, and when you do get a callback from anyvan a real person its a belligerent and rude male . i have a issue with my account and ive been trying to sort it out for weeks, and all i get is no response or a snotty arrogant phonecall i am seriously considering using another online platform for my pick up and deliveries as all anyvan is your money and give you nothing in return

No care or attention in furniture move. Damage to door frame and also dining table surface during transit. Anyvan/drivers did not read the special requirements listed in the Anyvan webform and also emailed to the driver. Hence they did not come with the special equipment required (low trolley) in order to do the job properly.

I’ve used this service twice now, and I cannot in good conscience recommend it. The first time was largely uneventful. The driver turned up three hours late for collection and four hours late for delivery. Very possibly due to circumstances outside of his control, so extending him the benefit of the doubt, I decided to use AnyVan again when I needed to vacate a flat in Edinburgh. I agreed to vacate the flat by a Monday, and I arranged for the collection of my belongings on the Saturday before. The driver, after confirming with the depot that he’d be arriving in the morning, switched his phone off and went AWOL. Not myself nor anyone at the company could contact him. After a day of frantic calls with customer service, they arranged a replacement who phoned to say he could definitely be there on Sunday. He said he had one pick-up to do from Brechin, and a delivery to Glasgow, and then he’d be with me in Edinburgh. He was informed that I was legally required to vacate the building by Monday morning. I sent the replacement driver a message around midday on Sunday, and he announced he was on Skye waiting for a ferry. … He said he wouldn’t arrive until late, so I had to ask my flatmate to load up the van as I had a non-refundable train ticket for 19:00. At 20:00 I asked where he was again, and he told me Fort William, en route to Mallaig. I.e., the west coast (Edinburgh is on the east coast). He said he would not now be able to make it until the small hours. I could not apologise enough to my flatmate; it is a horrible situation to be in. I said not to expect the driver’s arrival before midnight. The driver then rang me and accused me of giving inaccurate timescales: sometime near midnight was far too soon. The driver then arranged to pick up Monday morning first thing. At 11:30 I spoke to my flatmate who had heard nothing, had rung the driver four times with no answer, and had now lost all his patience. By now, the new tenant had moved in and was severely unhappy to find my stuff still in the corridor. I sent the driver a message asking where he was, saying that this was ridiculous. The driver responded by saying he had never agreed to be there first thing, that he’d cancelled the pick-up, and that he doesn’t work with ‘fuckwits’. Ultimately, I had to drive back up to Edinburgh from Sandbach (it’s a four and a half-hour drive each way) to collect my stuff. AnyVan refused to offer any compensation, not even to cover my fuel costs. In the interests of fairness, the staff were very apologetic and promised the swift return of our deposit, but in our opinion, this wasn’t satisfactory after our experience. Maybe some people have had a flawless experience with this company, but not me. At best, expect a driver who’ll be 3-4 hours late. At worst, one who goes AWOL, and in-between are the drivers who change their story every time you ring them, who are not dependable, and who are abusive when you try to get a straight answer out of them. An incredibly stressful experience for me and my family, not to mention the people inconvenienced in the Edinburgh flat. Ultimately, if renting a van yourself is an option, do it. This is not worth the aggravation. Especially don’t chance it at the weekend, as the driver might decide he’s owed a day off. TL;DR: Using this company is rolling the dice. If they come up short, expect disappointments, unreliable drivers and abuse. Do not use if you have deadlines!!

Wait until you have to deal with customer services, be sure to keep a detailed note of what was said when and by who because if they have to listen back to the recorded conversations they are very choice about what they quote back to you. My issue will be going to small claims as a matter of principle. The rest of the experience was quite professional.

I bought an ebay item. The van driver called the ebay seller on Saturday advising that he will collect, the collection did not happen. He then called on Sunday again saying he will collect but he did not show up again. Anyvan made the seller to stay in for 2 days, then the 3rd day somebody finally called again 30 minutes before and the driver was surprised that nobody is available after 2 days of messing up. I have not received even an apology but a blame as to why the ebay seller was not av for collection on Monday after 2 days of missed collection. Anyvan promised that they wll arrange 2 hours pick up slot but they just stay quiet. The van driver kept saying that he is collecting a table and chairs where there was a vanity unit to collect.

I would give zero stars if I could. After being messed around with drivers cancelling at the last minute, and arguing with the new driver via text over whether I really needed a VAN like I ordered, he showed up the next day with a HONDA CIVIC HATCHBACK, which is in no way a VAN. The call centre rep refused to send an actual VAN without charge and wanted me to pay again. He had no intention of assisting me. All he wanted was to rip me off again. He got very uncivil. After long discussion with the call centre, they told the driver to unload the vehicle and leave, and told me that they will not refund for that. The driver left and I had AN HOUR to find another mover. I called the company I previously used, and they provided a van, as I asked. Anyvan made my move super stressful, nightmarish and ripped me off for a service that was not provided. Beware using their services.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. In my case it took my booking, took my money, then no service. 3 hrs after collection due I called them to be told they did not have a driver and someone would call me from their operations centre. This turned into a sad farce whereby their operations centre then told their customer services who then called me to tell me there were no drivers available. It seems that this company just take orders and money and then chance it that they are able to sub-contract to anyone who will work for them. The web-site works very well and gives an impression of a well managed organisation, but this is just a front. It seems this company does not have an actual courier operation. You just have to take pot-luck that they'll be able to source transport, after they've taken your money, and you're left holding all the risk that they might not be able to find any. If they can't find any, you're likely to find out well after you're allotted time-slot.

PHANTOM DRIVERS!!! NO COMMUNICATION!! So, the website is great, the booking seamless. All looks good, you pay for your time slot allocations and within seconds you get a confirmation and driver number. However this company simply does NOT DELIVER a service! After booking in a slot for delivery from 4-6pm I called the driver early afternoon to ask for an ETA. He told me he had been overbooked and would likely be late. And "Hoped" to make it by 6:30pm. At 8pm, no one had turned up, he didn't reply to texts or calls and head office could not reach him. I cancelled the job! It's a very disappointing network they have of drivers. Unprofessional, rude. It's basically impossible to move heavy small stuff around London!

Absolutely shocking service currently being offered by Anyvan. 1 job on a flexible date was not allocated, I had to spend two days trying to find out what was happening and then without any notification AnyVan didn't complete the job and didn't even bother to let me know. This despite being promised numerous calls back and other failed promises. Now a second job is in exactly the same situation. Lack of communication is a real problem as is lack of reliability. The live chat refused to speak to me when I was trying to find out what was going on. If you want something guaranteed to be picked up and delivered as stated then use another more reliable company. I wont be using them again.

I don't know that I can even give this service one star, as this company have been unable to provide me with any kind of removal service. The website very much gives the impression that this is a guaranteed service and that your driver will contact you 24 hours before the time slot. You pay an upfront cost. On the day my mattress was meant to get picked up I had to call in order to be informed that no driver had been allocated. This came at huge inconvenience to myself as I was then stuck with a £500 mattress + moving out of my house the next day, As well as this, if you want to talk to someone on the phone it will take >30 minutes. If you do get through to someone they're frankly not very helpful with appalling customer relation skills. I have complained directly to the company and yet to hear anything back. **DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY**

Chased the company the day before my move to check the arrangements that had been confirmed and paid for several weeks ago. Customer service was dreadful and bordered on being insulting. Continued to phone chasing confirmation and eventually they phoned back to state that they were unable to do the job and the only option was a refund. Has left a vulnerable single lady with no option for moving late in the afternoon before moving day. Company are unprofessional amateurs who think letting people down is a normal part of business. Do not use- you will regret it

I cannot believe how much anyvan charged me for their basic admin. They charged £178 for giving me the details of the provider. This is a rip out. Find a local trusted provider and do not go anywhere near anyvan!
