Chased the company the day before my move to check the arrangements that had been confirmed and paid for several weeks ago. Customer service was dreadful and bordered on being insulting. Continued to phone chasing confirmation and eventually they phoned back to state that they were unable to do the job and the only option was a refund. Has left a vulnerable single lady with no option for moving late in the afternoon before moving day. Company are unprofessional amateurs who think letting people down is a normal part of business. Do not use- you will regret it

I cannot believe how much anyvan charged me for their basic admin. They charged £178 for giving me the details of the provider. This is a rip out. Find a local trusted provider and do not go anywhere near anyvan!

my sons stereo was stolen enroute.the delivery men took 1 and a half hours more to get to the very secure storage unit and rushed everything off then left quickly saying they were late for another job.most labels had come off the boxes in transit.when we unpacked the storage we found our sons stereo in two clearly labelled boxes was missing. It is obvious with that many similiar boxes going into storage for a probably good amount of time theft is less easy to trace.I cant beleive we bought them breakfast then they did that.went through our private things ,took what they wanted when they were trusted to move our things.

I booked a van to turn up and help me remove the last few heavy things from a flat I had sold, before the new tenant moved in. I booked it early on moving day, between 8 and 10am, so the property would be empty for the new owner. I prepaid for the van...here was my fatal mistake. I was told the van driver would contact me the night before. He didn't. So I called him. It was obvious that I'd woken him up, yet he insisted he was still on a job. Enquiring about my job the following morning, he knew nothing about it. I simply wanted to find out if he would turn up nearer 8am or 10am as I was travelling a long way and am nearly 8 months pregnant. He said he couldn't give me a time. So, I turned up at the property at 8am. At 9.30am, I received a call to say he was going to be an hour late. At 11.30am, I called to ask where he was, knowing I had to leave the property at midday to hand in the keys. He was still an hour away. I said 'This ins't good enough!.' I then tried to call him again to cancel - yet he didn't answer his phone. I then called Anyvan for the second time that morning. After 15mins of waiting time, I luckily spoke to the same girl I had called to complain to earlier, who was very apologetic and refunded my money. I will never use this service again. Yes I got my money back, but I took the morning of work, and i'll never get that time back. I also had to leave my treasured posessions in my old property which still have to be removed. It was an absolute shambles. DO NOT, on any circumstances, use this company. If you do, do not pre pay!

Absolutely appalling avoid at all costs!! We booked and paid to have a hot tub moved from my inlaws to ours. I booked 2 weeks ago and paid for the service. Two days before the arranged day I get a phone call saying sorry they couldn't help after all as it would be very tricky !! YES I know this,is why we needed a van and three men to move it. If it was going to be easy we would have dons it ourselves!! It wouldn't have been so bad if they had told us at the time of booking instead of taking our money. Very unprofessional.

The worst luck of service EVER! Made a booking to pick up patio doors from a ebay seller on thursday for Sunday. Booking was confirmed and payment taken. Come Sunday no call or information given about pick up. Was on the phone to anyvan speaking to various agents who promised a call back but no one did! Spoke to Mark who was very rude and dismissive telling me well we cant find drivers sorry, offering me a refund. Could not care less that I was in tears as the doors were moved to sellers drive and were place by a tree ready for a collection. No information or pick up on Sunday. Same story on Monday. A huge let down had to fork out nearly £300 with a different company for a last minute pick up due to incompetence of this company! If you have large items for a pick please avoid as that will not be happening as the prices quoted on their site are unrealistic and no driver out there wants to complete that job! Shocking customer service!!!! Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!!

I booked collection for sat 13th May 12-6pm. I was given the impression this was confirmed as the website says 'confirmed' when you book. The driver didn't turn up and I had no contact from Anyvan. I couldn't get through on their customer service line and I have had no response to my email. I just called and was given a vague promise of a call back this afternoon. None could tell me why the van had not turned up! Terrible customer service+ no collection = do not use if you want a reliable service.

Please BEWARE that when you book the service, it is not guaranteed that your delivery will be picked up. AnyVan do not operate their own fleet of vehicles, and guess if they can get somebody for that day. When you recive a confirmation email after booking, this does not confirm your delivery. This only confirms that they have listed for a 3rd party bid. It is not confirmed that you are have a van until you receive a call. So if you need a delivery on a specific day as i did, this is not the service for you. This should be made clearer on the website. Do not hang around all day as I did on you pick up day unless you receive a phone call, as you I am very disappointing with the service provided by AnyVan. The only option i was given was a refund, or to put out for their 3rd party drivers to bid again, so another uncertainty. In addition to the extra i paid for getting a pick up on a Sunday, a refund of the difference was not offered. Very poor service!

Terrible company. I had a awful experience with a one of the couriers from this website. I leave my review on trustpilot. A few hours later Anyvan flagged my review and it was removed. They are rigging the reviews on trustpilot to make them look good.

I booked "ANYVAN"on their website they state they are specialist motorbike couriers, they dont even transport the bikes themselves, van and driver turned up to collect my £4000 bike from the seller with no ramp to get it into the van,had to borrow a scaffold board from a neighbour. When the van arrived at my address and the driver opened the back doors of the van the bike was strapped to the side of the van and surrounded by furniture and he even gad a refrigerated shop display cabinet right down the left side of the van.I complained to ANYVAN,but they werent interested even after requesting pictures and further details. They offered me a £30 credit to my ANYVAN account for the next time I use them[no chance].DO NOT TRUST THEM,THEY ARE NOTHING BUT COWBOYS.

No driver turned up! No refund ! No alternative driver has been provided, and people that you speak on the phone are not the drivers are office worker and will allocate you a driver after you make a payment so if you are not happy with the driver for any reason then they don't find you an alternative driver that speaks good english and is easy to understand and communicate, just leave YOU in a dark ! Keep well away very poor service!

I used a company called Movers o8 DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE RUBBISH I accepted a quote of £211 for removal of a large part of contents of a two bedroom house. They advertised that hey could collect anytime after 9am which would have been perfect, they then rang to say it would be about 1pm. I had no option but to accept this as I had paid the deposit and it was too late to get another company to do it. Two very inexperienced drivers arrived with a small Luton Box van , I had already moved all the items outside including several items of furniture, to save time, the guy ten said he had to take a picture of the contents to get a quote!!!! . To save a long story after I argues with him on the telephone he almost sent the two drivers away saying the job had been misquoted!. Fortunately my daughter spoke to him and he agreed to move what he could (but demanded that the rest of the money was paid my debit card up front before the move. We had to pay a further £170 for another van to remove the rest of the belongings two days later! This company deserves to be named and shamed for the shoddy way in which this job was dealt with, so BEWARE BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY AT YOUR PERIL!

I had a house removal booked on Sunday, but the driver called to cancel 2 hours after he was due to arrive. Had to call Anyvan to get the job relisted and ended up having to change removal plans due to the delay. Anyvan's customer service thinks they've done a great job in getting the removal done anyway. But I had to go back to the old property to finish the removal myself and do the checkout. Anyvan would not accept to refund part of the deposit so that I could cover the extra expenses I had. At the end of the day with Anyvan there is no guarantee that the van will arrive as scheduled or with the number of people in the quote. Best thing to go: find a man with a van on your own or pick one from anyvan and call him directly. At the end of the day you get exactly the same and it saves you giving Anyvan 20-30% extra as a deposit to do nothing. I would also consider spending a little extra to get a proper removal company to do the job. First and last time I use Anyvan.

All arranged throughout the week for a Saturday AM pick up of a vehicle. They even called on Thursday to ask for more details about the car. Having not received driver confirmation at 16:45 i decided to ask via email. I then received a call and voicemail saying they had to cancel. This was around 17:00. I needed it moving on the agreed date as i'm not available for a fortnight. I've had the engine delivered to the garage ready and will need to pay for it to be stored whilst I wait to find someone else that can do it in a fortnight. (i cant organise anyone this late in the day for tomorrow) I should have realised they weren't honest when the extra costs started coming in before the booking. (they say there's no hidden costs) extra cost for a 4 hour window and they make out like you need the premium insurance which costs extra again. Look at other review websites before using as i'm astounded this one hasn't got any 1 stars. I WILL NEVER EVEN CONSIDER THESE PEOPLE AGAIN! as you can imagine I'm furious.

The offered price is always a lie. Later on, once they've got you, they bump the prices up and AnyVan doesn't respond for that.

I arranged to have my late husband's piano moved to my son's house for my granddaughter to use. It was in very good condition, only needing retuning after the move. The two men who packed it into the van did a good job with protecting it and securing it to the side of the van. It was delivered later that day by the boss of the company, Paul Nightingale of Palogistics in Hull, who was alone. He moved it on his own and, in front of my son, he dropped it onto its back whilst trying to manoeuvre it across the van. Bits of the piano fell off and the keys were out of alignment. He finally got it into the house with my son's help. It was obvious that it was too damaged to play. I heard nothing from him the following day, so I rang AnyVan who were sympathetic but advised me to pay him as it might injure my case if I had to go through his insurance company and I hadn't paid. So, against my better judgement, I paid him. I rang him and he was quite rude, just concerned that he had injured his leg when the piano fell on it, but refusing to accept that the fall had caused any damage. AnyVan told me that they couldn't become involved in disputes and that I was on my own. I obtained the services of a piano company to ascertain the damage and to give me a quote for repair, which came to £400. Phone calls, emails and registered letters have all been ignored by Mr Nightingale. It is now some time since the damage happened and he has moved house and I cannot find him to take him to the Small Claims Court. I acknowledge that the damage was nothing to do with AnyVan, but I am disgusted that they do nothing to help dissatisfied customers. I will never use them again and I would not recommend them to anyone as their customer service is so bad.

DISGUSTED! DISGUSTED! I WAS ROBBED!!! Arranged with Anyvan to pick up a 2nd hand speed boat my kids and I had saved up for and were very excited to get for my husbands 50th birthday.... This was a big deal and really wanted it to arrive on his birthday. I would have otherwise collected myself from the other side of the country to Devon, but had broken my ankle. After paying a deposit to Anyvan, I Was told to contact the van driver beforehand to pay him the rest, but because I couldn't get to a cash machine and was housebound I transferred the money over to his account the day before collection...(stupid of me I know now! But I like to think somebody is trustworthy) we waited till 4 o'clock on his birthday...the guy didn't show up , We were all upset as there was nothing to show for the birthday...so I called Anyvan, they said the guy had cancelled and I'd have to pay for another driver. (They didn't call me to let me know)I was appalled and so angry! Anyway needed to get the boat over somehow, thought I'd sort it out afterwards and booked another more expensive driver (surprise surprise!) who said he'd set out straight away. The boat arrived day after my husbands birthday and I'd had to pay out more than double what I should have...I fought with Anyvan and said they should be liable, but theyve got it all sewn up in their favour! They agreed to give me my deposit back in the end after many threats and the p...k van driver who stole my money won't, my husband even spoke to him afterwards, he promised to pay me, 3 weeks later and I'm still £225 down ...I can't name names but he's a driver in Totnes...if he gives me my money back I won't take him to small claims or near to name him in my next review! He even told me that Anyvan owed him money and that's why he took it from me and that I should claim back from Nick at Anyvan...JuSt ridiculous! I'm the customer here...what kind of company operated this way...they should be put out of business! REVOLTING!!!

If you list a job they insist to calling you, so you ask that you dont get called, they say OK. Next time you list a job they keep calling you..... if you dont want constant harrasment whilst working chose one of the other similar companies that wont call and harrass you.... After all I thought I was using an internet based service, what next? call me, send me letters, send someone round to my front door? Ultimately when I try to get the person calling me to transfer me to a manager they say wait a minute and then cut you off.... ARGHHHH
