So this was the next best thing she will not leave it alone it goes to bed with her and she is now part of our family honey 🍯 is her name. “Product does what is says. However what AlzProducts should maybe consider in their description of this item is that while it can work with Sky Q remote, the Sky Q remote needs to be turned to infra-red mode from its default bluetooth mode. I struggled for ages to get this product to work with Sky Q and then picked up this tip from another reviewer. I sincerely believe this would enhance the product use for buyers. (to turn Sky Q remote to infrared simply hold down buttons 4 and 6 until the red light flashes).”

“93 year old Father-in-law with dementia finds this a marvelous thing. He found CD players had become way too complicated and had broken 3 in the last year as his hand-eye coordination is poor. Sound quality is good. Loading MP3 files is very easy but rather slow - a USB3.0 connection would have speed loading up. It plays the mp3 files in a pseudo-random order. If you turn the power off it restarts the order. So to get to the end of several hundred songs you must not turn the power off. Despite these issues it has significantly improved my FiL's life.”

“We think it's a lovely radio and mum loves it. Great that we can tune it to a station of her choice and set the volume level as she tends to have the TV volume on max, which can annoy other residents in her home. She can manage to press the button after some attempts (seems to lack the strength to push it down, but the staff can easily do this for her). We have placed the radio on a side table with some non-slip material under it in order with all the pressing so that it does not slip off onto the floor. Great radio.”

“I have bought this for the last 2 years. It is a sturdy product, with clear writing. My mother has dementia and it has been very useful for her to keep track of her daily activities. In recent months we have needed to write more prompts for her but have run out of space. It would be useful if it came in a larger size a5 perhaps.”
