“Only the time is really clear. Unless the clock is positioned in a place with no light or shadows ,it can be difficult to see the rest of the information as the underlining characters show. Everything needs to be in the bold type.”

We're sorry to hear that our customer is unhappy with the visibility of this clock. The Viso10 is a battery powered calendar clock and doesn't have a backlit display. This does mean that the readability of the clock can be less than some of our mains powered digital clocks with backlit displays. We do have a 30 day returns policy so if readability is an issue please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team who can discuss alternative options and the return/exchange process.

“Good old fashioned radio bought for mother-in-law who has poor eyesight and dementia. Good idea of one button but you have to be careful replacing the front panel as the tuning control can be moved; unfortunately we didn't have a good signal so only classic Fm was available without a hiss. The on/off button on top was easy for my mother-in-law to understand.”

“The only trouble my 93 year old mother has is sometimes falling asleep and waking up to wonder if it still the same day or the next. This clock has given her every bit of confidence possible to know exactly the time, what part of day and what day it is plus the month. She is absolutely thrilled with it. The set up was the simplest possible, take it from the box and plug in. That was all there was to it. Thank you so much.”

“I have not been able to take these Retro Jigsaws into the home that my husband is in as I have been rather poorly for the last 10 days but I do have them in my possession and I can see by just looking at them that they will be very beneficial for some of the residents in the home. I think that 16 pieces are just enough for some of the residents that have dementia and I particularly like the idea of the four seasons around the same scene settings which will be of benefit to the residents. Thank you also for your punctuality in sending them to me.”

“I have purchased this product for my Dad who doesn't have dementia but has difficulty remembering things (he is 89).. I have had no problems adding music but as yet have not given it to him. I think it will make a big difference. I like the simplicity of the design and the retro style.”

“The clock is brilliant and so helpful. Only criticism is that it’s quite expensive. I bought one for my Mum & one for my uncle, so that was £130 for two digital clocks .. I purchased the white framed clocks, which were the cheapest. They increased in price, depending on the colour of the frame. Great product but don’t understand why they are so expensive & why they increased in price, depending on colour of frame. Otherwise, excellent!”

“My Aunt with severe dementia really loved the cat. She keeps trying to wake it up because she says she wants to feed it. She has it next to her, sitting on the mat that was with it. A really good sensory item for the person with dementia.”
