“Good price and service from alzpro. The phone however could be better laid out. Confusing for me , let alone for someone with dementia issues. (Purchased for my mother in law) There are a lot of extra buttons along the bottom, aswell as all the picture and memory buttons. In itself confusing, but the symbols on these buttons aren't easy to understand! I can't remember exactly which symbol is for what, but one of the obvious ones is the Redial button. Marked up with a symbol (can't remember what it is now) but next to it is a button with a capital R! That would seem to be the logical one for redial? Anyway, I have made stickers to go over the buttons to make it easier for my mil. Just disappointed that, in my view, the product does not seem to have been designed for the target user. “A very cute therapeutic toy, and my 2 young daughters love it. As we live in the UAE it’s the perfect compromise to owning a real pet. It’s fur is very soft, it’s very lifelike, and now they would like one each!”

“This device has pushed off the wall a bigger illuminated red light clock/alarm the size of a cornflake packet because as I get older I need to see what day and what am/pm and what date /month even it is. I am advising watch retailers on the web elsewhere to specialise in day/date watches and shun the rest for the sake of the growing dementiam sympathetic markets emerging slowly but accellerating over time (no pun intended). So your product was a sensible buy with that in view. But with that in view with a battery supply it is a bit of a pity the practice I have of falling asleep in my recliner and seeing the time in a dark room and with the AM/PM light to know for sure have I slept until after dark or until pre sunrise... I hate uncertainty and your product in the same prominent place above the TV either requires a discreet light, a torch, or going back to the red light maxed out product on mains. I am really into ergonomics ( msbnewsextra.wordpress.com is me excited) and minimalism would be nice yet I find I need both products here. There are other products and watches are a good compromise (AppleWatch maybe..but POWER an issue!) yet I chose your product above others, even trying a screen saver slightly too quickly as one element was missed on the one I chose too quickly. Still, your product is getting me there. With more rooms with absent-dementia-friendly clocks to find for me when there, or passing through, I may yet buy another, but probably I will be hoping it wioll be mains powered and meets the needs of a sleepy hollow eyed recliner freak wondering what planet he is on until your product comes into view. As they said in the African test marketing of the Trevor Baylis wind up radio radio which could be quite small, no make it BIGGER, ridiculously so if you have ever taken one to bits. It is sad really that something as universal as time, day, date, , month, year even has to have so many permutations gone through time after time such that we have choice in the matter. Wristwatches are a smaller handle for all that we need and can have fewer permutations, but my advice maybe is , self lit, mains powered, and tested on dementia wards, the military, ergonomic principles and young inspired children who one day will sit in a recliner, pass out, wake up and wonder what day it is? Send three and fourpence, the hands are going to advance.”

“This remote took a lot finding and I am very glad that a lot of research paid off. This a brilliant remote large coloured button which are simple and easy to understand.
