Part of my order was a free pair of cedar shoe trees, these didn't arive with my order, I have emailed to ask for a update but to date I have not recieved a reply.

Very disappointed that the DPD driver left the parcel in the recycling box, the day before the recycling was collected , i never saw the product !

Prior to December 23, I would have said A Farley offer good value and service. However on 5th December, I ordered 3 items on a 5 day delivery basis. 2 arrived between Christmas and New Year and the 3rd is still outstanding as of today (25 January 24).

Concerned to find I had to pay £8.95 to return an unsuitable item and still not received a refund of the purchase price 9 days later. That doesn’t feel first class.

The boots I ordered are beautiful. But I was disappointed with how long they took to arrive and the return process . I contact customer service when it was nearly 2 weeks and they hadn’t arrived . I was they told me that they were waiting for new stock to arrive . The boots then arrived the next day . Whilst on the phone to customer service I asked how the boots fit after been told they were true to size , I asked could I exchange the boots the next size bigger . I was told the proceedure for returns . Return them and reorder the larger sizes . Surprise surprise , it now looks like it will be now another 2 weeks if not longer with it being Christmas for the boots to arrive .

The shopping and payment was easy. Delivery was very quick. I ordered 2 items, 1 was too small, even thought it said I was a 40". The other Item, a sweater, was the correct size, but it didn't come in it's own packaging, it was just thrown in the DPD bag and sent.

Ordered 2 pairs of trousers delivery was next working day if ordered by 2pm . This order was placed on the Sunday for delivery on Tuesday. Order did not arrive so I emailed customer service who replied it was a 5 day service. I then phoned and once again was told it was a 5 day service. I then discover only 1 pair of trousers were in stock so they sent 1 pair the other pair were sent 1 week later. I sent customer service a screen shot clearly showing the order was NEXT working day delivery if ordered by 2pm . Never received a reply. Poor customer service.

I was disappointed that despite the order confirmation stating that my goods would be delivered within 10 working days, the parcel took 17 working days to arrive (in excess of three weeks). I did telephone the helpline who assured me that they would arrive as stated but I knew that this was impossible given the dates. Felt a little "fobbed off". Just glad I ordered so far in advance.

On first acquaintance this firm have been reasonable though not perfect by modern standards. They took every one of the seven working days and a bit to supply my order and when it arrived it was not what I thought I had ordered. I phoned to try to rectify the issue and although I was number one in the queue it took twenty minutes before it was answered. The staff were very helpful and I think the issue is now resolved but I am now waiting for firstly, the refund for what was sent and secondly, hopefully what I thought I had ordered in the first place. No doubt that will be another two weeks of waiting!

This is the second time I have ordered from A Farley and both times took over 2 weeks to arrive. Not expecting next day delivery but over 2 weeks is well below par compared to everything else I order.

I telephoned A. Farley to check on the calf measurement prior to ordering a pair of size 3 Galway Boots. Based on the sizes listed on the product on the Farley site, and the assurance from the colleague I spoke to, that the boots were a 'generous' fit, I ordered the regular fit. When the boots arrived, I couldn't squeeze my foot into them. Upon measuring them with a measuring tape, I found them to fall short of the measurements stated. I e-mailed Farley on (7th Nov and again on 13th Nov) to say that I was unwilling to pay £8.95 delivery charge to return the boots - I received no reply! UPDATE - 16 November 2023 I have received an e-mail containing the return DPD label which I appreciate. The boots have now been returned. I do think feedback is necessary to Dubarry by their stockists with regard to the calf measurement on the smaller sizes. A size 3 (36) does not mean that an adult has child-size calves! The Galway boot is a beautiful boot but their sizing needs to be reviewed.

No problem with the product when it arrived. The problem was the process. When I ordered, I had an email to say to download a Shop app that would track my order. When package didn't arrive after few days (my expectation), I tried to use the app which did not display my order at all. So I had to call customer services, who said the app doesn't work until the package is despatched - so what was the point in that! The package did arrive after a week (5 working days) which was ok but I was put to bother because of the faulty tracking system. Shame.

Surprised I didn’t receive email confirming dispatch. All other companies I use keep me informed of order progress. Opted for standard delivery so parcel took over a week to arrive. Lost the enthusiasm for purchase so probably will not order from you again.
