Contacted yourselves neatly 3 weeks ago about jeans, explained I didn’t want tight jeans . Took your advice, got tight jeans. Bought some shoes, which you sold someone else,upgraded them asked I what type of fit, as I buy a lot of good shoes, was told they where a small fit, thy came,they are a large wide fit. It all needs to come back. Contacted shoe company received correct shoe in 48hrs.then was asked to pay to return £400 worth of items.I had to ask for a free returns label ( two weeks before jeans came) very poor advice.

We can see the item you ordered, the jeans, are standard fitting jeans so we are sorry to hear you found them too tight. We are sorry that the original pair of shoes you had ordered had sold in our shop previously to your order coming through, due to the system not updating quick enough, we understand that can be frustrating. I’ve used the company many times before and always been very happy but waiting 3 weeks for something that was a gift, without any communication about a delay is not acceptable. The item said in stock and the postage time said 5 working days. 3 weeks later I receive the item. Very disappointed

Still waiting for correct size shoes. Ordered and paid for a 44.5 and received a 42.0 size. Sent back by returns system. Email sent but no reply. Tel no constantly engaged. Mistakes happen so benefit of doubt applies.

Lovely shoes however the size 9s are too small. They are more an 8 1/2. So was really upset by this

Good afternoon, Thank you for kindly placing an order with A Farley. We are sorry to hear your shoes do not fit, unfortunately, we do not have any control over the sizing of any brands we stock. We do however offer a pre-paid DPD returns label for any items that are not suitable. If you would like to return the shoes to us free of charge, we can arrange for a refund to be processed and you have the option to place an order for a different size. I have tried for half an hour to get through to customer service to request an email with pre-paid postage to be sent. I was apparently number 1 in the queue at one point and still didn’t get to speak to anyone.

I ordered a tilly hat on the basis that it would be delivered in 5 - 6 days but it transpired they did not have it in stock and when i phoned they were unable to give a date when they would get it in. There is nowhere on the site saying that they do not carry the stock of this item. All pretty shabby. Needless to say it was late

Wrong size gloves sent - an 11 instead of a 9! To be fair, the plastic bag containing the gloves said 9, although the tab clearly showed that they were size 11. I am sending back for a replacement Update -8 June: I’m still waiting for the replacement gloves to be sent! No word from the company…

The reason for the poor is because of a picking error meaning that I received the wrong item. I visited the shop to return. Staff each time I contacted by phone & staff in the shop were very pleasant and helpful, but picking errors are just hassle for a customer and a no no in business today with all the technology available. A simple human error I guess but enormously frustrating.

Ordered a heated gilet on 1 April, it arrived 25 April. No communication from them until I E mailed to find out status of order!! According to Website should have been within6 working days!! Always been pleased with the service when buying from the shop but ordering online was a different matter.

I had to follow up my order after 2 weeks of my purchase not arriving. I was told the product was out of stock and it would be shipped as soon as in stock. This was not mentioned at the point of sale plus I had no confirmation of my purchase. Had to follow up after another 2 weeks to then be told they had been dispatched that day. Total lack of communication was my main bug bare.

I paid in full for my order of sailing boots in early October but only received them in April. The company did include a carry bag and cleaning kit by way of compensation but the wait was way too long.

Bit disappointed as the shoes, although made by the same manufacturer Dubarry, were the size I normally wear - 43- but were much bigger than usual. Have had to send them back and order a size smaller - but why?

The product I was shipped was good, although there was some minor loose stitches on the tie that needed to be snipped. The main issue is that I paid for 3 day delivery (the only option) by DPD, and the order wasn’t fulfilled on A. Farley’s website until four days after I ordered it. 3 days after that, (none of this including weekends), I received the tie, which I had ordered on the 8th, just over a week before Easter Weekend, which I had hoped to have it for. All in all, I paid for 3 day delivery and it arrived in 7 working days (ordered on 8th arrived on the 19th) so I was essentially charged for nothing, and unfortunately the issue has still not been resolved.

You took my order and payment when you did not have the item in stock. You said at the time of order 5-6 business days for delivery. Only after I queried delivery did you admit to not having stock. I got my order only 2 days after the original suggested date so no big deal....but your management of expectations is very poor. You need to learn to be transparent up front and under-promise but over-deliver, not the other way around. The product was fine.

Unfortunately I was unable to get my feet into the lovely boots. I had expected them to have a zip down the side. They looked very nice and appeared to be well made. I have returned them for a refund.

For the second time I have received trousers with each leg a slightly but noticeably different length. For the second time I will have to take a pair of trousers from you to a tailor for adjustment! As a separate point I notice the hip pockets are much shorter/shallower than other trouser makes/brands. For mobile phones etc I guess most of your customers would prefer normal pockets
