“We entered the details of the parts we wanted, a quote came up. We contacted the seller to see why the postage charge was as expensive as the part, the company said they didn't use Royal Mail only courier services, we bought the parts, I was shocked that carriage was so expensive but we couldn't buy the parts locally so we were forced to pay the inflated fee.”

“If I waited for all quotes to come in I would have paid half as much also part arrived damaged but was cheaper to repair than send back will use 1st choice again but not the people I bought part off because they obviously new it was damaged before they sent it”

“Fast quotes but pricing difficult; request 3 different items and all resulted in a wealth of quotes withing an hour or so, but in each case the quotes were all about the same price, like a minimum price cartel was operating. Plus, one item (a windscreen washer pump) was quoted at about £43 in nearly all cases, but I bought the item new one for just £18..... I know Delivery and Vat have to be added, and dismantling in some cases, but it presents a financial challenge when the whole point of searching is to try to get a cheaper price than dealers etc. Service was prompt and purchased items did work ok. “Conceptually a brilliant scheme. Unfortunately in specifying something like the colour of the part required First Choice relies on the colour of the car reported in the log book. Our car is specified as blue but is a particularly uncommon shade. Frustratingly got the customer and potential suppliers it appears that the First Choice System is unable to process shade subtleties within its data-base enquiry system. This wastes much time.”
