It also depends on whether the parts are available and those in short supply, can sometimes come with a premium.
We try to find the best price and it may be worth repeating a request, a day or two later.

Q: What happens if a part supplied is faulty?
A: Simply contact the supplying member direct to inform them your part is faulty. The member will usually ask you to return the faulty part and either dispatch a replacement or if they do not have one available, they will arrange for an immediate refund.

“purchase front caliper carrier for nissan terrano, from orange autosalvage. told them i needed the slide pins to be moving free,was sent the carrier with both slides seized was told to soak in wd40 and the told if i sent it back and they freed it i would be charged. the part sent was worse than the part i was replacing and had to pay a garage to free it up. will never use your service again”

“I have had the worst experience with the seller. Sold me a different engine knowingly. When I took engine back, he wanted to do repairs on my car instead of a refund. Finally gave me another engine but apparently not fit for purpose coz had overheated and blown head gasket. Much as they gave me £200 to cover my costs to Bradford, I believe I should be refunded plus costs since they are selling bad parts knowingly!!”
“Hi 1st choice was prompt as a service provider but the 2 companies that contacted me saying they had the parts for my vehicle were blatantly wasting my time so its gave me a total lack of confidence in the whole process and makes me wonder is it the right way to try and get parts for my vehicle 2 bad experiences makes you think. Anyway good luck to you all i hope you have a better experience than I did.”

“Found the part that I required. So I cannot fault the service.
The part was 50% cheaper than main dealer.. only problem is you cannot guarantee that it works if an electrical component.”
