“Fab service parts arrived quickly although courier left with a neighbour and didn't know it had arrived! Postage is a bit steep at £8.50 though... Will use again as parts for my vehicle are like getting hens teeth!”

“Very good service from 1st Choice Spares. I was able to find suppliers of the car part I needed - a parcel shelf - within hours of posting a request. That resulted in three quotes with varing prices.
The only problem I encountered was that my postcode did not show on the drop-down menu for the item to be sent out. However, after contact 1st Choice Spares I recieved advice that allowed me to make a change to input my correct address.
The part I chose from those who gave quotes arrived hassle free and in perfect condition. Highly recommend this service.”

“Received 6 quotes, all bar one being a reasonable price. Decided to go with Ford Spares Ltd which gave a 3 month guarantee and was 5* rated by 1st Choice. I confirmed the part number with the company and paid on the Friday afternoon through the 1st choice website expecting the part to arrive, as informed by the company, by the following Wednesday at the latest but nothing arrived. I phoned twice on Thursday and once on Friday and received assurance that the part was on its way - which turned out not to be true. I phoned again on the followuing Monday to be told the company had some staffing difficulties the previous week which resulted in my part not being sent. I was promised receipt by Wednesday but nothing arrived. I phoned again on Thursday morning to be told the carrier had been unable to get to me on Wednesday but would deliver by Friday. I was completely surprised when the part came on the Thursday afternoon.
This saga should not have happened. Firstly I blame 1st choice for advertising a company as 5* when obviously it was not. I also blame Ford Spares Ltd for not giving me a truthful explanation of what was going on insted of trying to fob me off. The truth is much more acceptable than a pack of lies.
I was particularly annoyed at the unacceptable delay in receiving the part as I had arranged with my local garage for it to be fitted two days after it had first been promised. I had to apologise to the garage for messing them around through no fault of my own.
1st Choice, you need to be more aware of the capabilities of the companies who you deal with otherwise your reputation will sink to the same level of those companies.”
